Works well, but pretty heavy.
Great bit of kit. Used to change the springs on the front struts of my BMW Z3. Tried the usual cheap compressors but couldn’t get them to work; the spring ended up twisted and couldn’t compress it enough. This did the job, even compression and a nice light action on the wrench. It’s pretty heavy though, so I found it easiest to clamp it in a vice and work as the weight combined with the weight of the strut itself meant I’d have needed about 5 hands otherwise!

Perfect for BMW front struts
Bought to change the front struts on my BMW E46, worked really well, spring was very secure and the tool made a big job very straight forward. Very happy with the quality of the tool and the case is very nice too, look forward to using it again. Highly recommend this tool for anyone working on Macpherson struts.

Great value for money
So easy to use. These have saved me so much money, the cheap compressors I have used before are unusable after only a couple spring changes but these have so far lasted 10+ and can't see them failing any time soon.
