Good quality!
The tape worked perfectly in its intended use. I found the width very convenient for multiple tasks, i.e. auto headlight restoration to protect the painted areas, refinishing small details on home exterior, etc.

Wider tape for laser cut signs
The wider blue masking tape is great for masking larger laser cut signs, where designs and letters are created.

Have realistic expectations
I used this for masking off areas for paint. Don't expect this tape to provide you with really sharp lines all the time. Even on the flattest of surfaces, after pressing on the tape for greatest adhesion, I still have areas that weren't sharp. But that happens with a lot of masking tapes - even some of the name-brand ones that advertise their sharp lines. There is a chance for bleedthrough of paint if it is applied too heavy. On the bright side, the tape does not leave residue behind. The thing that drew me to this particular tape was how wide it was - I am sloppy painter, and having 6-inches of tape to keep me from coloring outside the lines is amazing.

It let’s paint bleed like crazy!
This tape is huge but worthless if you’re using it to cut stencils with your laser because it lets paint bleed like crazy. I’ll find a use for the remainder of this roll but will be using the Frog Tape brand masking tape from here on out. Absolutely disappointed.

Use this for extra protection--not precision
I originally ordered this, because sometimes I don't want to use my drop cloth or painting paper when I just need a good "lip" of tape for protection. Judging from the other reviews and including the thickness and flexibility I could tell that this tape is not meant for precision, just to provide that extra width, which is fine by me. Knowing this, I did use a different narrower tape for precision, and just overlapped this one and it was perfect. It does really leave now residue and easy to peel off. I did not use it for 3D printing, so I cannot speak to that.

Nice masking tape!
This masking tape works well for projects or arts and crafts. Picked this up for my son who is into a lot of art stuff. The tape has some good stickiness to it and is really colorful. The adhesion is a bit above some painters tape, but would work well for projects that need a really wide strip of tape.

Not good for 3D printing
I always line my 3D printer bed with painter's tape as I find it helps a lot with adhesion. I usually use 2" wide tape and have to apply 3 or 4 strips, which leaves seams. When I saw this 6" wide tape, with one of the applications being for 3D printing I bought it immediately. You can see in the picture that a single piece of tape is all I needed to apply to the printer bed for all but the largest parts to be printed.I had a little trouble tearing a clean piece from the roll as the tape itself is thinner and more delicate than the tape I usually use; I had to be very careful to pull the tape perfectly straight or it would begin to tear on one edge or the other. After a few tries I got a clean piece and applied it to the printer bed.I started the print job right after applying the tape, and very early in the process the edges started to curl up. I paused the print and pushed them back down. After that initial curling episode the tape stayed adhered for the full 9 hours the print required. I think if you use this tape you should pre-heat the bed after applying the tape and then flatten down the curls before starting your print.Unfortunately the biggest problem didn't manifest until I removed the part from the bed after it was finished and cooled. The tape, rather than sticking to the bed, tore and stuck to the printed part. For the life of me I can't get that tape off of the plastic, so the part is ruined. Further, I only get one use out of the tape whereas I would usually get 3 or 4 printed parts before I had to replace the 2" wide tape I previously used.If your plan is to use this tape for 3D printing, stay away!

Durable but hard to maneuver
I thought that having more surface area on the tape would make it easier to work with but it winds up folding over onto itself and making a mess. This would be great to cover areas for spray painting but if you’re using this for wall painting or for wood staining isn’t the best choice.
