Order this item, delivery was swift but the item was faulty, the item made a horrific rattling sound which got louder and louder, no A/C unit should sound like that, requested a return which Amazon royally messed up, instead of a refund which I requested Amazon decided to issue me credit without informing me, when I raised a complaint I spent over an hour in live chat, passed from advisor to advisor 6 times, only to be told basically that amazon don't care and would not be issuing a refund as the credit, to which I was not informed of had been partially spent then ended my complaint without resolve, I wouldn't slate this item so bad but Amazon have made the whole process a horrifc experience and I will likely choose not to use Amazon for anything ever again.

At first we thought that the unit was not cooking enough because there was a small gap in the window. After we fixed that it sti doesn't feel like it cools a room like a normal Aircon unit however it does cool a little more than a regular fan. It is also on the louder side.

Good quality and very reasonably priced. I placed on the landing, closed the windows and left the upstairs doors open and it cooled all the rooms to a comfortable level. Easy to use and not too noisy, although I couldn't sleep if it was left on. The extraction hose is quite short so unless you have an accessible space near a window buy an extension.

We used this mainly to try to cool the room down during the summer heat waves. unfortunately its not that great in pumping the heat out and cooling the air. It just feels like a very large fan.

Really loved this, it was very quiet and useful. Using it everyday and still works.

Overall it's fine . Will cool a small room . Say 12ft x 14ft. Quite noisy so not great in a bedroom . I run for an hour to cool room then turn off .

Works great from the cooling point of view, but it is very noisy. I get that it would not be silent and if you just have the fan in its fine.But when using the cooling or dehumidifier setting it clicks in with a loud humming noise... it will be hard to have on at night which was what I wanted it for.Will just use it to cool room before bedtime as its much too loud to sleep.
