Holy Sheet — This Paper Slaps
Listen. I’ve used a lot of marker paper. Some bleed like a bad breakup, others wrinkle under pressure — but this stuff? A freakin’ unicorn. It’s thick without being stiff, smooth without feeling plasticky, and best of all? No bleeding. Zero. Nada. I’m talkin’ full-blown alcohol marker action on both sides of the sheet and it takes it like a champ. It's like having twice the paper for the same price, which feels a little illegal, but I'm not complaining. Whether you're layering colors, doing linework, or just vibin’ with your brush tips — this pad is your new ride-or-die. It makes my colors pop, blends like butter, and honestly? I kind of want to frame the paper itself. If you’re even thinking about upgrading your coloring game, go ahead and grab it. Your markers will thank you. Your sketchbook? Jealous.

My new Go-To!
I had a previous no-bleed brand of paper I used to buy all the time, but it has gotten increasingly overpriced and scarce. I love the Ohuhu brand markers, so when I saw this new paper I was excited to try it, and it definitely lives up to the hype! I take traditional art commissions with alcohol marker mainly, and I really layer and blend them on there. This paper was extremely durable to all the ink I soaked into it, and the back stayed perfectly white and bleed free! It makes my commissions look so much more professional, and I think I'll get another one just for personal sketching since I can use both sides completely! The cover is minimalistic which is nice, since I can decorate and customize it as much as I want, and the paper itself is very thick and smooth. If you are using it for the first time, the wet ink looks a lot darker and slightly discolored until it dries because of the inner protective layer that prevents the bleeding, but it dries to the correct colors so don't worry. The only thing I would want is for them to make this in more sizes, because my previous brand came in sizes up to 16x22 which was great for those more detailed artworks. 9x12 is my most used size though, so I can't complain too much. Since this is a fairly new product, then hopefully they will add various size options later on.

Impressed
Does not leak thru to otherside. The only thing is really test your alcohol markers on it in layers bc what ever chemical they use to make it leak proof does slightly effect quality of work. I had some bleeding into other colors and it kind of drys funny. It looks like hair spray marks or Lil dots all over on the really saturated areas with that said I am still obsessed. I will use it as if it is the only paper on earth lol. It will take a Lil time to figure out how it works but I think it's totally worth it. The price is also absolutely on point for low income artist. I think it's safe to say this brand is creeping on top of copic. I have almost all the bundles of ohuhu markers aside from the pastel set and the largest marker set and that is only bc I cannot afford it. If I had the money I wouldn't think twice about getting them.

Best marker paper
My fave marker paper as many are not double sided. This paper truly is and works so good for my alcohol markers. Its the only paper I use for marker art.

highly recommend
very interesting texture, doesn't bleed through at all! weird to use with copics but im still trying to figure it out, the ink needs to really dry to see what's going on, its very thin but not transparent with light, not compatible with water based markers, it will just tear the paper up

The pages aren't meant to stay together
I think the intention of the book is to take each page out individually instead of keeping it all in one book. With that design, the sketchbook isnt intended to hold together. Having this book a month, July 13, it's already broke off in two different pieces. I am a little frustrated but too be fair I did see the pictures before ordering and I knew the design. But I did wonder if that would happen. Other than that, it is definitely a great marker pad. It doesnt bleed like others. It's spacious, and it's a thick pad. Definitely recommend.

Had high hopes, sadly was disappointed
Tl;dr: Cons: some sort of graininess when tested with Ohuhu water markers, smudging with fresh colors, bound pages came away from spine/cover really easily, cover scratches easily; pros: no bleeding, easy to tear individual pages from the bound stack, when the color doesn't grain it does lay down well. I had the Ohuhu water-based markers and decided to try the marker pad since I thought it'd be the best medium to use it on. Not only did the pad come off from the cover just trying to lay it flat, but it also didn't take the markers very well. It doesn't bleed, so that is true, but unfortunately there's a graininess. I've tried on other paper—including a cheap sketchbook not meant for markers—and while it bled and there's streaks, there's no graininess, so I know it's just the Ohuhu marker pad that produces it. If you want to lay flat colors, try it out, but if you want to layer or the grain bothers you, maybe consider a different paper. Edit: I was reached out to and they do really seem to care about experiences with their paper! I was touched and while I had my issues I do think mine was maybe just a fluke.

BLEED-PROOF
This marker pad is ACTUALLY bleed-proof. I highly recommend this product as it is thick enough to make sure that not only will your work not bleed, but you won’t even see what you’ve done on the other side of the page, so you can use both sides. Works amazingly with Ohuhu’s alcohol markers; they glide on smooth and don’t ruin the nibs of your brush pens. Definitely recommend this for anyone using alcohol markers!

Album

Me encantan
Jajaja
