Good Initial Impressions
I'm a serious bass fisherman who bought this for bikebacking around the numerous lakes, rivers, and ponds we have here. I'm used to one-piece rods and Swiss reels. This rod seems like it's decent quality. I still have to fish it, but it definitely feels better than the Quantum Telecast I bought some years back. (That thing will barely work with baitcasters.) My one issue is that this isn't real cork, but rather foam dressed up to look like cork. The rod really reminds me overall of a Berkeley Cherrywood HD, albeit collapsible and maybe a little lighter. I'll evaluate its abilities and speed when I get a chance to go out.

Fun Portable Light Weight Functional
These are good poles for hiking and backpacking. I've caught a lot of fish with it on trails in various places. I come across a lake or stream and just cast out with a meps spinner and it's a good time. I got one for my son too. I have no complaints and they're pretty cheap. Makes it easy to fish wherever you are.

I had traded cars & this new one doesn`t have room for any rods 6 foot or over. These collapsible ones are beautiful & feel good in my hands even after extending, now I need to go fishing & see how they handle big carp

Really good overall except for the eyes sometimes come out of place while you're casting even if you tighten them down pretty good The compact nature of the telescopic fishing rod is awesome and allows you to take your fishing set up along with you even in confined areas and spaces

Broke first cast
I read nothing but good reviews about this pole I was excited to get it, but on my first cast, it broke snap right in half!

Have purchased 2, both have broke in circumstances not involving fish. It seems to bend well specifically in the direction where a fish would pull it from, but any pressure elsewhere will lead it to break easily.

Nice rod, seems to be really well built. A little on the stiffer side for flex but should give a strong cast.
