Life-changing!
We've been annoyed with washing pots & pans in double basin sinks for years. I couldn't fit a pan (with handle) flat on the bottom to scrub (or soak if needed). The sink was shallow (as deep at my hand) and with pans at an angle, the water tended to hit in just the perfect way for me to get splashed. The silicone sealant of the undermounted sink was nasty when we moved in from the previous owner's probably dealing with the same splash back issues. I measured the hole in our granite countertop and then researched online sinks that would fit into our existing hole. Many manufacturers are vague about hole size requirements because a "cardboard template is included". Templates are great for new installation but not replacements. Anyway, the detailed dimensions of this sink made me believe it would fit. Plus, this sink comes with the steel bottom rack, colander, cutting board and folding dish rack. Competitors often include just two of those accessories, not all. I was off by about 1/8" because of the placement of the internal clip brackets vs the curved corners of my hole. Each bracket has extra metal to each side of the hole that is larger than 1/8". I'm including a picture to show the location of the four corner brackets that were problematic for us. Minor adjusts with a Dremil are far easier than major cuts so we made it work. Within a few hours, the old sink was out & new sink was in. After filling up with water & waiting for sealant to dry & retighten clips, we could finally use the sink! (Tip: plan ahead for meals so you won't need the sink to clean up) Within the first day of use, here are things I noticed: 1) Colander: when I came in from the garden with produce, I was able to dump it in the colander and wash right away. How convenient! 2) Dish drying rack: We won't use this to dry dishes as we have an over-the-sink drying rack. However, my husband used this folding rack to support thawing meat. 3) Bottom sink rack: I wasn't sure if I wanted this because I'm sure it will get messy any gross over time, but it's great! My daughter made a smoothie and put the blended top in the sink to soak. It didn't fall over! The bottom of the sink isn't level for water drainage purposes, but this rack is level. The blender full of water didn't tip over! I washed out our rice cooker and when I poured out the pot full of rice bits, the water draining didn't knock over the blender, and little bit of rice didn't get caught behind other things in the sink. This was profound. Like it really changed my perception of how things work. 4) Decorative drain cover: we have a garbage disposal but I can still use the decorative drain cover. This cover eases my concerns about dropping a fork down the disposal. Thank you. 5) cutting board. I don't have a lot of counter space to work so it's really nice to be able to cut over the sink area. 6) Depth: this sink is at least 3" deeper than the old sink. This makes a huge difference in capacity and less water sprays back. The corner are less rounded which means even more usable space while still being easy to clean. The only thing I wish for is another hole for a soap dispenser. Our 2nd hole is being used for the dishwasher air-gap.

As beautiful as it is functional
We replaced our deep but divided sink with this about a month ago, and since then, kitchen life has been amazing. To be honest, it was the sheer size as well as the allure of the tools that lock into the track that were the main reasons why we went with this sink, and our expectations have been exceeded. The sink itself is extremely sturdy and well-made, and installation was only complicated by the peculiar design of the mounting clips (they don’t have much play and fitting them into the proper groove was hard with the low accessibility in my under-sink cabinet area). We removed the old sink and found that this new sink fit well into the existing countertop hole (a major miracle if you ask me), and thanks to watching a 45 second video on a major home improvement store website (rhymes with shmome shmepot), I got the tip to install the garbage disposal bracket and new faucet BEFORE we put the sink in place (maybe obvious to someone who installs 10 sinks a week, but a revelation nonetheless). I didn’t end up using the drain assembly (because of having a garbage disposal) which is a shame because the strainer basket design is so aesthetically pleasing. The one piece grid that fits into the bottom of the sink is very well made and has helped to keep the sink clean even when it is half-way full. The folding drying rack is excellent in a pinch when you need more space to air dry veggies or cooking tools, and the stainless steel strainer is massive, and outstanding for washing leafy greens and keeping them far away from dirty water. The crowning glory of the setup is the 1/3 sink-width real wood cutting board, which is honestly too beautiful for me to want to use. I found however that one of my many polymer cutting boards fits nicely on top, and the track design makes it so much easier to prepare veggies without the "balancing act” of placing the cutting board on the corner of the sink (which was my former mode of operation). We also purchased the “colander/shredder” bowl that mounts into another wood square that fits on the track (this item is marketed with another sink made by Ruvati but it worked just fine in our “single track” model). Overall, we are super happy with the sink and it is clearly a cut-above our old sink in quality and design; though installation was hard work (as an admitted novice) it was completely worth it. Plumbing the sink to our drain was easy (I have far more experience in working with drain pipe) and I recommend buying more pipe than you need to allow for installation of the p-trap and then returning the unused pieces.

This is my dream sink
Let’s face it. You want a Kholer Workstation sink, but you don’t want to shell out the money for it. So you found this on Amazon and got enamored by the reviews (and the fact that it is a top-mount sink. Who trusts undermount sinks anyway?) Well, let me tell you. This is the best sink in the whole world. It isn’t a perfect sink, but you would be pressed to find anything like it in this price range. We’ve had this sink for about four months. It came nicely packaged with several accessories. That’s a great place to start, the accessories: Cutting Board: It looked really nice when we got it, but it cracked in a corner about one month in. I didn’t bother telling the seller about it because it works. I’ll likely replace it with a custom board with similar dimensions. The Rolling Rack: We have a dish rack, so we rarely use it. But it works great when we’ve made a big meal and need extra drying space. I can also see it used as a minimal rack for a kitchen. The Kholer sink probably has this sink beat in this area, because you can hide the rack in the sink. Doesn’t matter much when you’re just looking for a sink for function. The sink grates: I hate the way they look. I hate cleaning it. But it’s really nice to have the bottom of your sink look untouched. If you wash your hair in your sink, please take the grates out. Strands of hair can easily coil around the grates. The Install: We had a Plummer install this sink. They looked at it. They looked at everything that came in the box, and they installed it without asking a single question. Great. And I never worry about it falling through my kitchen cabinets because it’s a top mount sink. The kitchen sink comes with a cut-out template for your countertops. We didn’t use it and had the person installing the countertops to measure the actual sink. So I can’t comment on the accuracy of the template. If you’re wondering about cabinets, yes this sink fits in a 36-inch IKEA cabinet. That was my top concern. There were no questions or concerns about fitting when it was dropped it. Again, you need to get the largest cabinet for this sink to work. We also connected a garbage disposal to the sink. This sink has a low depth, so you may want to double check if your drainage pipes are situated correctly. And speaking of depth, this sink is a monster. Pots. Pans. A drink cooler. I could wash a whale in this sink. It’s incredible. But I personally find filling up the sink to be too much water for me, so I have a dish bucket that I fit with water. And guess what? There’s plenty of room for it. This sink makes my kitchen incredible. So far, I’m happy with the durability of the sink, and have no issues with daily use for the last few months.

I love this sink!
Why did I wait so long to replace my old, small, dual-tub kitchen sink that I could not fit big pots or cookie sheets under! This new sink is great! Tons of space! I love the drying rack and usually leave it in place. The colander insert is fits well and is big to hold all my veggies at once for juicing. The cutting board is so handy and fits nicely. Nit-picky issues, NONE of which are worth dinging a 5-star rating in my opinion, but some you should be aware of: 1. Yes, as others said, installation can be a bit challenging. Make sure you test fit and attempt to tighten clip bolts on all sides before applying any caulk/adhesive. Expect to need a screwdriver extension. I also had to cut some wood blocks so the clips would not angle badly back against the sink. With such, installation went fine. I'd suggest the manufacturer modify the clips (make them a bit longer to touch the sink as well so these blocks are not necessary. 2. The cutting board is not the true color all the way through, so expect knife marks to appear very obviously. 3. The sink bottom is very flat, and expect food particles to be hard to wash down. I have to remove the bottom grate and wipe down the bottom with a sponge. However, given the sink bottom grate (which is great!) holds all your dishes above the bottom and thus away from food and water, this isn't an issue day to day. 4. This sink is also quite big! So if you like to fill your sink with water and soak your dishes when washing, I suggest you get a dual-tub sink. I don't -- I wash directly from the hands-free faucet so I can save a lot of water. I'll be buying a small tub to fit in the sink since my girlfriend prefers to soak dishes first. 5. Do keep it clean and dry the edges after use. I have had a little surface rust appear.

Blown away by the utility as well as the beauty
My wife and i have had an array of kitchen sinks through our early rentals and now homes - from huge cast iron farmhouse style to a stainless kitchen sink that was about as deep as a bathroom lavatory. We needed a new sink for our home, and until I looked on amazon had no clue that the “workstation sink” even existed. I am truly grateful that I did and that I now have the Sink installed. When I first opened the packaging i was impressed with the quality and professionalism that was put into the packaging...going so far as putting the sink itself in a large, fabric, drawstring bag. Installing the sink is easy but i warn your it is a beast. I had to adjust our cabinet door hinges slightly because the sink is so deep and so close to the leading edge of the counter top. From the collander to the cutting board to the drying rack, i honestly had no inkling just how dependent i could grow on these accessories in just a few weeks time. The colander is great for catching peels or cuttings from carrots to potatoes to pineapples and onions. Using the cutting board in conjunction with the colander, you can trim and chop and discard wast with a slide of your knife. No longer do you have to contend with a cutting board that has discards on it until i walk it to the trash. For this reason alone, the cutting board acts like it is twice it’s size. When it comes time for clean up the sink continues to be a star. My huge 13 qt le creuset Dutch oven is swallowed up by this sink. Finally no longer do I work so hard at getting it clean nor does the water spray back on me. Even the strainer cup in the drain is well thought out with a flat piece that retards the huge bIt’s from filling the drain cup. If there is a negative to this sink - and I say this like a man looking at a huge diamond and trying to pick out a flaw...the sink could use a little more slope in the bottom. Some food just doesn’t want to head towards the drain, so typically i will use the sprayer to coax the food at the edges and in the corners down to the drain. If you are considering changing out the sink I highly recommend you look at the workstation models and ruvati in particular. Edit: I still really like this sink one year later. The grate in the bottom of the sink is super functional but cleaning in it is a real pain. I scrub it once a week and it still looks awful. The fact that I spend extra time cleaning this sink but wouldn’t trade it speaks to the functionality. My latest method is to put the stopper in the drain and fill with hot water and bleach until the grate is covered. Soaking for 15 minutes to and hour followed by brushing with a kitchen brush has proved to be very effective.

Great customer service
I recently redid my kitchen and was looking for a new sink that was modern looking and had some extra features. This sink was exactly what I was looking for. Thicker gauge than what the box stores offered. Deeper also. Came with cutting board, colander, and drying rack. perfect addition to the kitchen. Pros: Heavier gauge steel Customer service - My more cutting board was warped and would wobble in the sink. I told Ruvati about this and they sent a new board, no questions asked and for free. Lots of extras: -deep strainer for the drain -bottom rack -cutting board -colander -drying rack -easy to clean All parts just have that feel good workmanship (except one:see below) Cons: I only have one. The clips to hold the sink down are horrible. There is a section punched out on the clips that attaches to the underside of the sink. These were not punched out far enough. I had to use a screwdriver and open this section more. Even then I had a hard time keeping them on the sink whiling installing. Also, while tightening the clips, they wanted to twist and slide off the countertop. I final got the clips tight enough, but they need to re-engineer these clips. Overall: I am very pleased with this sink. Well worth the money. I have not seen any scratches in the sink, but i do use the bottom rack. Also, people that require more than one hole for their faucet might find it difficult since they would have to drill the additional holes. I knew about this and bought a faucet that only required the one hole.

Ruvati 33 x 22 inch Workstation Drop-in Topmount
I never could get my old stainless steel divided sink shiny and clean looking. It always had a residue around the back edges and the base of the faucets that I couldn’t get shiny. I called a plumber that I had read great things about on Next Door Neighbors to fix a problem with a toilet. I talked to him about a new sink and he told me NOT to go anywhere but to my computer and to Amazon. I looked the sink up before he left and he assured me that it would fit and that he would put it in for me. I ordered the sink that day and it came about a week later by FedEx. I left a Dear Mr. FedEx note letting him know that I was a senior citizen and I couldn’t get the sink in my house by myself. When it arrived he rang my doorbell and politely asked me where I wanted him to put the sink. There was only one problem and that was my old very large garbage disposal that wouldn’t fit correctly to the sink. The plumber went and bought a much smaller and more powerful garbage disposal that fit perfectly. I bought the fixtures myself about six months ago when I found them on sale. The fixtures and the sink work perfectly and the extra parts for the sink are wonderful because I never have to get my island or countertops dirty anymore. My neighbor came and saw the sink and she told me it made my kitchen look brand new. She said her divided sink was smaller but she measured it and it is the same size as mine. She has already ordered the same sink as mine. The last picture is my old sink in my kitchen and I love the new sink/upgrade!

Impressive details and a great value!
Wow! Even my plumbers were impressed! There are so many great features in the design and accessories included for this workstation sink. They were very impressed by the design and price. The master plumber said his wife would love my sink :) The accessories included add an extra benefit to anyone with limited counterspace. No drying strainer on the counter, no cutting board on the counter, and a colander that all fit on the sink in the recessed perimeter. Solid construction of 16 gauge stainless, rounded inside corner radii makes cleaning easy, the included stainless sink strainer and stopper do their jobs, and the base grate to prevent scratching is more of an industrial accessory and a pleasant inclusion. Ruvati put a lot of thought into this sink design and the accessories, for sure! Nice soundproofing on the underside dulls the splashing noise, and retains heat if you fill up the sink. Nice and deep at 10". The faucet and detergent dispensers I bought attached securely, and the plumbing was very easy to attach. I knew the clips were going to be the toughest part of the install because my base cabinet was significantly narrower than the recommended 36", but it was still able to be accomplished with just a little extra effort. All the items were packaged very well within the box. It dropped in perfectly to the existing cutout. You won't be disappointed with the purchase of this sink package! In my pic, I failed to realize that the protective corners on the colander weren't meant to stay on. The plumber removed them when I questioned why the cutting board, colander and sink strainer seemed a little too wide...and if those black corners weren't on the colander, everything would fit. I was afraid to pull on them, but he realized they were just to protect the edge lip til unpacking :) Ruvati put so much thought into this product, and it's worth every penny! You won't be disappointed!

Great sink - minor issue
This is a great sink, with the exception of some of the welding points showing signs of rust within a few weeks. Ruvati has an article on how to manage it (on their website), but this is not something I would expect from a new sink.
