Amazing shower filter head. I did a lot of research and read a ton of reviews and decided on this one. Amazing! We live in Frisco, Texas and have some of the hardest and worst water in the country for being such a high end area of north Dallas. My hair and skin have been a mess since moving to Frisco. My hair dresser recommended getting one of these and I will say it’s been life saving for my hose and skin. My hair is soft, silky and clean feeling after washing it. My skin is calmer, less red and irritated, less breakouts (never or rarely had those until moving here), my skin is softer and cleaner and less irritated, my eyes are less irritated, etc. the shower would literally smell like chemicals and chlorine prior to using this and I live in a multi million dollar home, so the fact that he water here is that bad and damaging to skin, hair, nails and probably our laundry items is scary. This filter is amazing, works perfectly, clean, no more chlorine/chemical smells in my shower, good water pressure-still and easy to install. My husband installed it in 2 mins. My only concern is it doesn’t come in the gold or brushed gold to use in my other bathrooms. They definitely need to make that b/c the gold hardware is super popular now! Highly recommend! I’ve been using the Afina filtered shower head for a few months now, and the difference in my skin and hair was noticeable almost immediately. My skin no longer feels tight or itchy after showering, and even the dry patches I used to get have mostly disappeared. My hair feels softer, smoother, and much less frizzy, and the water itself just feels “cleaner” compared to my regular tap water. Installation took only a few minutes, the pressure is surprisingly strong for a filtered head, and replacing the filter looks straightforward. This has been a meaningful upgrade.

Outstanding performance shower head. The best shower head i have ever had, and i do think my skin & hair felt better from the filter technology. The high quality packaging come with everything needed to install the shower head, filter, water restricter ( in separate envelope to be utilized when needed), plumbers tape and wrench. I recently moved out to the country and quickly realized something was wrong with the water. My hair felt like straw, and shampoo would not lather up no matter how much (quality) shampoo I used. My conditioner would not spread through my hair or get into my ends. When I washed the products out, my hair actually felt grimy. My skin was also dry and itchy. I Googled hard water issues and quickly realized I had to do something about the water. Malibu C Hard Water Shampoo and Conditioner worked from the first time I used it, but my ends still didn't take the conditioner as well as it normally would. I searched Amazon for a hard water filter shower head, and this AMAZING shower head came up. I bought it based on the reviews and tonight my husband installed it and I used it for the first time. It works SO WELL!!! My skin feels clean and not over-dried. My shampoo lathered up perfectly and I only had to use a normal amount. My conditioner spread through my hair and ends and I feel like I had my first REAL shower in 2 weeks! The install was super quick and easy. We wrapped with plumbers tape 5 times like one reviewer said to do. The water pressure is awesome! The spray area is awesome! And I really appreciate the packaging, QUALITY product (heavy, well built, sturdy - not cheap plastic) and most of all, they included the water pressure piece that some states require, but they did not have it IN the shower head. You can do that yourself if you want to or not. I'm thankful for the choice. This shower head is worth EVERY PENNY. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone. I'm so surprised at how much of a difference this made in my water. I will get one for every bathroom in my house. You will not go wrong with this purchase!! I NEVER write reviews and I got out of the shower, dried off, got in bed and wrote my second review EVER. It's that great!

OK, here’s an honest review. It’s actually a 3.5 rating but I’ll give it a 4 here to be on the nicer side. It’s incredibly easy to install. It comes with everything you need to install. The stream of water is extremely strong. It feels great and it was a nice addition to my bathroom. The only thing is for the price (Not so sure try to catch it on a deal or a coupon if you can). Is it actually worth it? did it do anything to my skin? Did less of my hair fall out? Does anything feel smoother? NO!!!!! Not really, so for all that it’s advertising … I don’t think the price is worth it but if you don’t care on spending a little extra and you just want a good showerhead, this is a good choice.

I felt like my soul melted into heaven after my first (strongly anticipated) shower after years of hard water. After only a week, all my skin scalp and hair issues disappeared. I knew I had a lot of minerals in my water but I just had no idea how much a lack of filtration was wrecking me. My favorite part is the strong water pressure and the spray design, it feels like a massage while keeping my whole body warm and it makes rinsing my thick long hair a breeze. It’s like a waterfall type showerhead but more directed, so your hair doesn’t get wet when it’s not washday (curly girls you know what I mean). Even with a new baby, I insist on even just a quick rinse because I love this shower head so dang much and it’s the best part of my day now. Side note, install was fast and easy! Zero drama, instant bliss.

This is my favourite shower head I have ever had. Not only is the pressure amazing, but my hair and skin have definitely noticed a difference. I’ve been using it for about 6 months now and my hair feels so much softer and healthier, my skin is less tight. If I just just pick one thing to suggest I only wish that it could move around to change the water angle but the other benefits outweigh that. If Affina ever makes something like this for my regular taps I will be all over it! :)
