Lovely smooth coffee with a rich aroma and great flavour. Fresh beans that make an excellent espresso and work well in my bean-to-cup machine. Will definitely order again.

Really nice flavour. That said it takes almost double other brands to get the same strength. Overall weak but tasty!

We've tried a few blends and for us this is our favourite coffee bean the coffee is always full of flavour and very smooth.

Roast quality and strength not as expected

Having read a number of reviews about foreign objects being found within the coffee beans such as glass and stones I was a little apprehensive, however I still went ahead with my purchase and now I understand the issue. Please don't be distracted by these reviews as these coffee beans are roasted to perfection and taste great in my espresso machine. The route cause of the issue I believe is the coffee beans and not foreign objects! The coffee beans are lightly roasted meaning that any cheap or integrated grinder would struggle grinding them as even my single dose grinder did initially trip the electric struggling to grins such a light roasted coffee bean. Please bear this in mind the lighter the roast the harder it is to grind the beans and so if your grinder has stalled its not because there's glass or a stone in with the beans it means your grinder is cheap and cannot cope with lightly roasted beans.

I've tried quite a lot of beans but keep coming back to these.I'll start by saying that this coffee won't be for everyone. It's a proper, traditional Neopolitan roast, and a blend of arabica and robusta.It gives the high-caffeine kick expected of the robusta, with quite exceptional crema.The arabica is there for balance but to be honest the level of roast and blend will mask most of this...as you would expect from a traditional blend.If you're looking for a lightly roasted, acidic, third-wave espresso then this isn't for you.If you want to be instantly taken back to the energy and intensity of a Neopolitan espresso bar, then this is the real deal.Be warned - this really does seem to have a high caffeine content!The only thing I would like is some info or guarantee on the provenance of the beans, such as the ecological and financial background (rain forest alliance, fair trade, etc).
