46 PCS Compression Fittings, Brass Compression Tube Pipe Fittings Assortment Set, 1/8" 3/16" 1/4" 5/16" 3/8" 1/2" OD Compression Union Connector and Compression Sleeves Ferrules

I *love* not having to make a trip to the hardware store in the middle of a new project. Having a few of each size compression fitting, along with spare sleeves, is really great. One minor caution: There is no statement in either the listing or the label stating that the fittings are lead-free. Not a problem at all for the vast majority of applications, but if you're using them for drinking water (especially for kids), it might be worthwhile to ask the mfgr for more details on whether the fittings contain any lead.

These compression fittings are very good and with excellent quality. Their only problem? They have the wrong size for American standard plumbing pipes. Ask any professional plumber and they would tell you that a 1/2” pipe has 0.625 OD not 0.5. The required fitting in the US has to be 5/8” (0.625) for a 1/2” pipe. And sadly this set doesn't come with 5/8” OD fittings.I think these compression fittings work well for other applications but for plumbing, they don't.

For someone that works with lots of different sized tubing, this is a perfect set to have on hand. I work on machinery that uses various types of air hoses and this is ideal to have on hand. The price is actually pretty good as compared to going to a hardware store for even half a dozen fittings. So you get a good collection of the sizes you are likely to need.

What can I say? Another great homeowner assortment of commonly used couplers for copper pipe. From drip lines, refrigerator lines, gas connections, humidifier lines, even some sink and toilets. If you split the pipe for any reason, these will get you back up and running. They have the full setup, from the ferules, the sleeves and coupler bodies in one box. Get it, keep it on hand because when you need it, you'll need it.

This assortment of fittings comes in a plastic box. Sadly, my box was broken and every piece was loose in the cardboard box it came in. I had to re assemble the box, tape up the broken corner (it won't stay closed anymore) and fish all the parts out of the cardboard box and sort them all back into the compartments I configured in the plastic box.Everything was there but a piece of bubble wrap on that plastic box probably would have prevented me from having to go through all that.The fittings and compression sleeves are really nice. Fit and finish on everything is well done.I didn't really need this many fittings but having spares is a good thing.Good deal for a good product. Glad I got them.
