This stuff work's very well. Match your synthetics or non. Easy to use. Keeps oil pressure stable on highway. Seems to help work gas mileage. Used with valvoline high mileage. No compatability issues ever. Used for YEAR'S! Extended cold weather protection for dry starts sitting engine or poodle that don't drive frequently. Prices are usually reasonable. American made.

I've used Lucas (non-synthetic) engine oil stabilizer for over 25 years. I've been able to get more miles out of my oil changes while keeping the quality of the oil better. I've recently changed to full synthetic engine oil in my trucks, and I'm using the synthetic version to match. I also expect the same longevity, that I've gotten in the past, from Lucas with this product.

I usually substitute 1 quart of this and subtract 1 quart of my oil on an oil change. And I have definitely noticed my gas mileage has went up. To me it is worth every penny. Because overall on an oil change, I know I get that money back, especially nowadays. And every Lucas product I have ever got has done everything it was advertised to do. I have proven the gas mileage savings with friends and family.

I highly recommend this for any high miles Engine. I use in all vehicles to help longevity

Smooth idle, quieter machines. I run a small strength gym and grabbed this Lucas synthetic stabilizer for our older treadmills and the noisy air bike. I mixed it with the oil on the worst treadmill and that thing went from grinding to a clean hum in one workout block. Members noticed the difference before i even said anything.I like that it thickens the oil a bit without turning it into sludge. I just follow the ratio on the bottle and shake the container before pouring. Did the rower fan housing too and the chain feels smoother and less grabby. One bottle handled three pieces of cardio gear and a squeaky utility cart, so I’m pretty hapy with how far it goes.

This is a product review only. Seller and Amazon got the product to me as scheduled in excellent condition. Lucas products are quality lubricants and additives. Lucas’s product nomenclature is perhaps generic to its use. This product though stipulating thin, and to mix at 10% for 4 cycle motorcycles with wet clutches. A professional mechanic has advised me to avoid using it in my sport bikes to which I purchased it for. Noting that it is not compatible and will diminish the properties of JASO MA-2 engine oil, that is intended to wash the clutch plates to maintain optimal shifting throughout all rpm load. Thickening the oil where it would begin to imbed particles causing glazing, slip and premature failure due to frictional heating. Further more voiding an associated warranty repair. I have no other application for this product. I am confident that it is a great product for the right application.

Witnessing how the Lucas Oil stabilizer improves my engine's performance has been pretty satisfying. I use it in my everyday car for commuting, and it seems to run a bit smoother and quieter. The quart size is enough to last quite a while for regular use. It's a handy product that I plan to keep using since it’s helped my vehicle run more reliably, especially during long trips. Definitely a good addition to my maintenance routine.

I have an old BMW 3 series that began to have a knocking sound and also had a rough idle. I have used Liqui Moly, Wynn's oil treatment also and both are very good. I was advised to also use this product and so I did. Now, this stuff is like treacle and so I would only recommend blending a very small amount with your engine oil. I didn't want to use the whole bottle and believe that only a very small amount is needed to simply thicken your engine oil. I mixed a small amount 1/10th of a litre bottle with 5w40 oil, then mixed them together and poured it into my engine. I made sure that my engine was nice and hot and as I poured it into the car, I let the car idle for 10-15 mins just to help it circulate. So far no major problems and another tips is to take your car out on the motorway and give it a good run also, enabling the oil to get very hot and coat all the engine oil pathways.So far, the idle has become much quieter and I have not had any fault codes. The secret is that less is more and ensure that it's mixed with oil first to make sure that it hasn't become too thick before adding it to your car engine. Always add to a warm/hot engine too and drive the car immediately after using to help circulate the new mixture. It's a welcome addition to my ageing car engine.
