Boy's White Cotton Knit Christening Baptism Longall w/White, Blue, or Gold Cross and Hat

What a relief to find a christening outfit for a boy that is not made of that heavy satin fabric! I purchased one of those more traditional suits for my first son and, luckily, it was too big to use for my second son. This time, I set out to find a soft, cotton romper that he could wear all day -- that way, I wouldn't have to find ANOTHER nice comfortable outfit for him following the ceremony (for lunch with family and friends). This is gorgeous and perfect! I love that it is "dressY' but not girly at all ... the blue trim emphasizes that. I was a little worried about the fit because of the reviews I read here, so I ordered a 3 month and 6 month size. My son is only 6 weeks old, but was born at 9lbs so he's already wearing 3 month sleepers and size 2 diapers (I'd guess he's about 12-13 lbs). The 3 month size fits PERFECTLY and our christening is only days away, so I don't have to worry about him growing out of it. I've got Amazon prime, so I have the confidence in ordering and receiving an item in only 2 days. Thank goodness this was a prime product!!! The hat also fits him -- and his head was in the 95th percentile at birth. It just takes a little stretching (something this fabric does very easily). I wish there were snaps and not buttons on the leg closure, but overall I LOVE IT!

This exceeded my expectations. Many of the Christening outfits for boys are very ornate and satin, I was looking for something more simple for my son. This was simple but still beautiful and was a nice thick quality knit. The fabric was a soft cotton, so it wasn't itchy or uncomfortable for my son. The sizing was good. I purchased 0-3 months for my 2 month old (who was in the 80th percentile), and it fit him just right. The legs were a tiny bit short on him when we put him in a sitting position, but that may not be a problem for other babies.

The romper was the quality I expected and it wasn't too frilly for a boy. The hat was small but we didn't use it anyway. I ordered a size larger because the reviews said it ran small however it was then too Large so I washed and dried it and ironed it under a pillow case ( instructions said not to do any of those ) and it did shrink up to decent fit. It did stretch quite a bit while wearing it overall I was satisfied

I hesitated in buying this based on the reviews of it being thin and not worth the money. I found it to be beautiful, heirloom quality. It is thin, but I was prepared with a white onesie to go underneath and it was perfect. I found the design to actually be blue, not purple like some reviews say. My son looked adorable in it 💙. It was soft and stretchy after a gentle wash with woolite before he wore it.

The fit was good. It was very comfortable and adorable. The hat was on the small side and just sat loosely on my sons head but he left it alone for a while so that was good. It also looked great without the hood. My son (6 months) spit up on it several times and I was able to get the stains out with stain treating. Only negative was that the bottom had buttons instead of white snaps so it was a little hard to reassemble after diaper changes. I would recommend this item.

Absolutely adorable and way more comfortable than the traditional baptism attire. I gave 3/5 stars due to the poor sizing. My son wears 9mths and I ordered 12mth and 18mth (just in case). The 12mth fit perfectly and the 18mth was huge! Forget the hat it's the weirdest shape. The hat is super long so it sags off the back of the babies head.

I bought this for my 14 Mth old’s Longview awaited baptism and it was the most precious purchase ever! It was so perfect! It is of good quality but definitely delicate. After wearing it and falling asleep in it it did stretch out a bit but I know after a wash that it will go right back to its previous shape. I did not use the hat and the outfit was a showstopper all on its own. It is perfect for a boy no matter what age. I bought size 24 mths bc we have a big boy and I’m glad I did bc it was just the right amount of roominess for my taste although some may have opted for the 18 mth size. Love thus and it will be a family heirloom and keepsake for my son to cherish when someday he has his own family!;))

Unfortunately this product was not what we expected. After reading reviews from other customers we were very hopeful but ended up disappointed. The material is very thin and the buttons on the legs are so loose that they don’t hardly even hold the legs closed :( It is very cute and the blue coloring was correct but the product as a whole was disappointing.
