Excellence
Bought this in 15 feet to carry a 4k 144hz signal, and it works perfectly. The same can't be said about a set of 15 ft fiber optic HDMI cables (from another company) where the signal drops out constantly. Said HDMI cables are almost twice the price of these GeoHN.G cables. The takeaway is that with fiber optic cables, build quality absolutely matters but price is not necessarily a better indicator than brand. These GeoHN.G cables pass with flying colors.

Great cable for DP over relatively long distances, works in 4k (can’t test in 8k or 16k)
This is a nice 20 m (a little bit more than 65') optical DisplayPort cable. I was able to test it in 4k@60 Hz, and it worked as expected. The display synced quickly, and there were no problems. My 8k display only supports HDMI, so I can’t confirm that it works in 8k, much less 16k. Since the cable is optical, things like RF interference near the cable won’t interfere with the signal. The cable is directional, of course, but the ends are clearly marked to indicate the signal direction. The packaging indicates a maximum data rate of 40 Gib/s, so if that holds, it should have no trouble with 8k@60 Hz and HDR, using display stream compression (DSC). The packaging doesn’t mention anything about 16k@30 Hz (listed on the Amazon page), but it might have enough bandwidth for that, again with DSC.The build quality of the cable looks good, but one minor potential negative is that it lacks the small hooks and button that DP cables I’m used to have. The disadvantage of this design is that the cable could become unplugged if there’s any tugging on it. The advantage is that if the cable is pulled with a great deal of force, it will become unplugged rather than potentially damaging the port/device it’s plugged into. Which is better is a matter of preference.Overall, this looks like a great cable for transmitting DisplayPort video over relatively long distances, and I can recommend it.

Works perfect!
The DP cable works perfectly and delivers a crisp picture. My display/computer can't handle the highest resolutions, but that's totally fine because if/when I do upgrade, the cable will still be incredibly useful. It's a crazy-long cable, much longer than I actually need, but I'd much rather have too long than too short. It coils easily and cleanly, so cable management isn't an issue. Love this!

Good Specs and Nice Construction
These DisplayPort cables work just as they advertise, I was able to do 4k 240hz just fine with my 4090. The cable itself seems to be strong and durable, able to withstand constant twisting and bending.I find the screen on the cable to be a bit gimmick-y, it isn't really all that necessary even if you're trying to get as much RGB and lights in your setup as possible.Overall, I do think this is a pretty good cable, although I would say you could get a cheaper one with the same specs.

Worked for one week only
I got this 50-foot cable because it conducts via the much touted fiber optics for reliable long cable runs. It worked fine for about a week. Then the attached monitor blanked off completely for about a second and back on again. This happened about 10 times over a period of about 20 minutes before a error was displayed that "no display cable is attached." So, I'm returning it for another one or something different.I note that of the 35 customer reviews thus far, 33 are by those receiving the free product. No one mentioned a complete cable failure. So, I might roll the dice again.

Duuuuude!
This cable, along with its HDMI counterpart, has convinced me that these are the only type of cables I should use going forward. Video is great, I haven't experienced any weirdness in connectivity. Everything just works great and the thinner cable helps alot with cable management.

Reliable performance for gaming
Having used this cable for a couple of months, I can say it significantly enhances the gaming experience on my high-end monitor setup. The clarity and precision it delivers are crucial for competitive gaming, where every millisecond counts. The absence of lag and interference, which often plague other cables, is a major plus. It’s a reliable piece of equipment that seems built to last and performs exceptionally without any fuss—just plug it in, and it's good to go. The difference in performance is noticeable, and it's comforting to know that the display quality is maximized with this cable.

Surprisingly good
Needed a high throughput cable for my monitor, and this looked too good to be true - but it's not. Not only does it allow the connection of a monitor to a pc over longer distances, but it's more flexible too. The cable only works in one direction, but it's clearly labelled so it can't be a problem.

A Very High Specification 3m DisplayPort Cable that is Light and Easy to Handle
I rarely use DisplayPort (DP), but my monitor has a DP input and for the occasions when I need it I have a lead behind the monitor ready to go. It is the lead originally supplied by Dell and it is so thick and stiff it has never given up the bends imparted years ago when it was packed. This fibre optic DisplayPort cable certainly benefits from the change from copper to fibre. It is more flexible, thinner and lighter. The three meter coil hardly takes any space and when straightened out it lies where you want it.The plugs are fairly large, in common with many DP plugs, but they have attractive grey anodised aluminium cases on which is printed an arrow to indicate the direction the signal must take - this cable is not bi-directional. Also printed on the plugs are, “DP 2.1” and “40G” indicating the cable meets the highest specification. In the debate about whether DisplayPort is “better” than HDMI it would appear that DP just has the edge at the present time, but getting the absolute best performance comes at a price for all three components, graphics card, monitor AND cable. Incidentally this fibre optic cable is thinner and more flexible than any of the high specification HDMI cables in my possession. HDMI does have a greater maximum length (15m) than DP which is only 3m and this cable hits this maximum. It will be interesting to see if future fibre optic DP cables can increase the maximum length. The cable is supplied in a plastic tray that can be resealed and used for storage. Attached to the wire are a number of sticky tags which label the ends and remind you to use the cable in the correct direction. A point to note about these labels is that they are attached using horrible sticky adhesive and if you try to slide them into a different position this is deposited on the wire - similar to the behaviour of low quality insulating tape. I needed to remove the labels and clean the wire with IPA before using it.It is not cheap, but this cable has the highest specification and the maximum length currently available in DisplayPort and it does so whilst being easy to handle and store.
