Great light for the budget minded and beginners...or pros who don't need massive. power
Great light, powerful for it's size. Works with modifiers with the bowens mount. It is controllable with an app, so if you have several Neewer lights with app support, you can see all the lights in your scene and adjust the power, color and mode all from the app....no more climbing ladders to adjust color temp or RGB color. I'm a huge fan of this light and Neewer LED's in general. I have aperture at my job and have used arri lights like the legendary sky panels professionally, and I don't feel like I'm missing much with this light other than brightness. It can do so many things. For a light that runs on npf batteries, this can't really be beat. If you need a small, low weight, light kit that runs on battery and you light smaller spaces (homes, not event centers) these lights will get the job done. Also, the price is incredible for what you get. One last thing, I have 3 of these all bought a year apart or so and all of them are built great with no issues...plus the cases are small and a great addition. The Godox equivilant lights have much nicer cases, but they are also waaay bulkier. I might even sell the Godox light I have just because of the case size. Also, I like the Neewer lights better than Godox, which really surprised me. I've used these lights for interview videos, small production short films and table top. I love them.

Insanely bright, ultra portable, and app-controlled—perfect for streamers
I haven’t had this light long, but I’m already loving what it brings to my setup. For such a small and lightweight unit, it puts out an impressive amount of brightness—I’ve only run it at 50% and it completely lights up the space with all other lights off. The app controls are intuitive and responsive, making it easy to adjust brightness, switch colors, or change effects without having to touch the unit. That makes a big difference if you're filming alone or want precise control without pausing to fiddle with dials. It's the perfect light for YouTubers, streamers, or content creators sitting at their desk. You can easily move it around, stash it in a bag, or even use it handheld for a dynamic fill. I haven’t tested battery longevity or long-term durability yet, but if it holds up, this light is absolutely a keeper.

Great background/extra light for photographers
The NEEWER Basics RGB FL10 is an absolute gem for photographers and videographers alike. Right out of the box, it feels solid and premium, thanks to its aluminum build — compact yet sturdy, and clearly designed for real creative use rather than a novelty light. The brightness and color accuracy (CRI 95+) are fantastic. Colors render beautifully on camera, and the 6300K daylight balance gives you clean, natural light when you need it. The RGB and effect modes add tons of creative flexibility — from subtle ambient fills to bold color washes — and the 20 GOBO filters let you project unique shapes and textures for stylized backdrops or moody effects. It’s perfect for adding character to portrait shoots or creating cinematic looks in small studio setups. Battery life is another standout. The built-in 7500mAh battery easily runs for hours on a single charge, even at higher brightness levels, making it super practical for on-the-go shoots. It also charges via USB-C, which is always a plus. Overall, the FL10 punches way above its price point. It’s bright, portable, and incredibly versatile — equally useful as a creative accent light, a practical video light, or even a mood light for your desk setup. NEEWER really nailed the balance between functionality, design, and creative potential with this one.

Super quiet, powerful and small
Awesome light. As a musician I wanted something quiet, RGB with good presets, and that was app-controlled. The fan is so quiet in auto and low mode. If you set it on high, it is noticeable, but it’s a soft noise. I don’t think I’ll ever need it on high. With the power supply outside it runs cooler than most. It gets extremely bright without a filter or soft box, and is still powerful enough with a soft box. It has a lot of presets that are nice also. The only thing I don’t love is the interface on the light itself. It’s ok, but not super intuitive. I’m sure I’ll get used to it more or just use the app when I need to fine tune. This is the only reason I give it 4 stars.

Incredibly powerful little light
This little spotlight is way better than expected I have the neewer led panels and their larger spotlight as well. But if you are recording / shooting in a small space. This little light has been the best option by far. I love my larger neewer spotlight but it’s actually so bright I never need to use it at full brightness. This at full brightness is perfect for my small setup where I’m taking full body photos and video in a 14’ x 11’ area Plus it’s easy to carry around, feels like it was built well, great interface and easy to charge. Though I pretty much always have it connected. No flicking or wonky activity when using it while charging, which I heard is a concern with other brands. But this is a purchase you will not regret. And with most people needing multiple lights for an optimal lighting setup, may want to get 2 or 3 of these. It also comes with a nice carrying bag but it’s so nice and small I never need to use it

Really well made and comes with a great selection of gobos. Easy to use and very flexible. The colour options are a litle limited, but fine for what I need it for. It's a handy size and fits neatly in my accessory bag along with all my other lighting options. The zoom function was a little stiff on first use, but it feels very positive and should last a long time.

Absolute steal at $150 CAD on sale. I own a Nanlite 300c and 600c already so I know prosumer quality (I don’t do Apurture because I’m not a big budget studio), and let me tell you this thing is now instantly my favorite and my main traveling light. Neewer can be hit or miss, but the MS60C is definitely a hit! PROS Super light, solid aluminum casing, silent, powerful (i underestimated and got a black spot in my vision), sleek, app is actually fine, bowens mount and standard 1/3 connectors everywhere, a cute little reflector, cord is decently long, and all the extras it comes with are just a bonus. I could almost fit this thing in my jacket pocket, but works great on a magic arm off my Fx3 rig, and I can either feed it the dtap from the vmount on the rig, or attach the NF battery holder it comes with for dedicated batteries. Best part about my setup is this light and my Atmos Ninja both use the same batteries so I already have many onhand and charged CONS Very minor issues like power connector feels weird plugging into the camera as the connector barrel is too long for the cameras socket so it never really “clicks into place which took a bit to get used to but you could just get your own shorter dtap power brick and connector for it as it runs on standard 14.4v dtap. Also, I bought it on sale, but the MSRP puts it really close in price to the 80c, 100c, or 150c from neewer or other brands where it might make more sense to get those instead. But with this one having the battery on handle option, it’s almost worth it to get it regardless. Finally, it has the smallest amount of mold on the plastic that the light was sealed in - just an annoyance and something I’ve seen in neewer products before as I believe their warehouse has (or has) a humidity issue. They had moisture packets in the box so they’re clearly aware and trying to mitigate the moisture. The actual product was well sealed and no moisture got inside, it was only on the packaging. No other cons, I’d be crazy to expect anything more for $150 CAD - best purchase on amazon in a lonnnng while.

I shoot a lot in low light situations, and this is great for a quick easy way to add a little extra light when it's not possible or convenient to have a dedicated light setup
