OG mousetrap
Still the best mouse trap out there. I've lived in old houses for decades and I keep trying the plastic ones but going back to the original wooden snapper. It kills the mice quickly and reliably. I've caught mice in these while exterminators' heavy-duty plastic traps sit empty. There are a lot of downsides, of course. You see the dead mouse. You have to place them where children and pets can't play with them. Setting them has a learning curve. It's gross and rarely worth cleaning out the traps after a catch. But they are cheap, very sensitive and they catch mice.

Fantastic, old school, dependable traps.
Very good traps. Dependable, durable, and easy to setup. I prefer a mix of Chewy Chip Ahoy, and a bit of peanut butter. Just a little bigger than a green pea is needed. Set, and check daily for visitors. If your critters are not getting caught, bait it again a few more times WITHOUT setting it to snap. On the 3rd day set it. They'll be less cautious by then, and snappity snap!! If used outdoors, you can screw in a tiny eye bolt, and tie it off to something if they drag it away. Overall, though these are still the best mechanical traps around. I buy in bulk, you never know when they'll come visiting your place, and you want to show some hospitality!!

Yup! Still Work Great!
Can be a bit tricky if you're not used to spring traps. Watch the videos for proper operation. The mouse traps are quite sensitive. I found the tiny staple can go flying when you release the armbar. I would try peanut butter first, it's easier to put a couple of drops on the plate. I found sliced peperoni works well as bait. They are reusable and easy to clean in bleach water if you want to reuse the traps. Use dog poop bag to pick up the trap and mouse, then tie and put it in bin. I've never had a problem with odor, just check 'em often.

Visually Unappealing. YMMV
Victor Traps ... a leading name in pest control for Decades. This order was for a single,12-trap package. What arrived ... 6 2-trap packages. No big deal. HOWEVER, the first 2 packages I opened has me believing that these are "2nds" or rejects. The graphics on each trap are poor and the wooden bases show indications of being wet and possible mold/mildew formation. Such defects *should not* affect performance. YMMV

There simply isn't a better mousetrap
I have been using this style of trap for 60 years. It is simple and deadly. The mouse is dispatched humanely and completely by the snap bar rather than starving to death on a sticky trap or inside of a live catch box. Why would you want to catch and release a house mouse anyway? The trap is inexpensive enough that I throw it out with the mouse still attached rather than trying to reuse it.

All mouse traps aren't created equal!
You would think a mouse trap is a mouse trap. Well I have tried other mouse traps with little success, however this brand is by far the best, they work every single time! Although I would prefer the critters to stay out of my house, but when they do get in I do what I gotta do, and use this brand always you won't be disappointed!

Deadly to the mouse world.
Part of the multi stage rodent control effort. Seems that peanut butter is the bait of choice. Caught several already and fall isn’t even close.

Some of them worked some came apart.
Some of them worked alright but they are pretty much single use. I had several 3-4 that never triggered but the bait was gone. I used a screwdriver to hit the trigger and had to hit it several times for it to release then the whole bracket came off the wooden base. I have set several more and will see if they work but they are not as good as any I have used in the past. I’m ordering the plastic ones and see if they work better.

No fail! Awesome!
These have never failed me while setting up. Cheaper than the local hardware store also. I’m on a vole killing spree. Awesome product
