Milo'S Kitchen Dog Treats, Beef Sausage Slices With Rice, 12.5-Ounce Package

I bought these for my daughter's dog, a 7-year-old shih tzu she had just adopted after fostering and falling in love with him. We were concerned about Seymour because he didn't show an interest in anything--except my daughter. He wouldn't play with toys, he picked at his food. I brought these dog treats when I visited my daughter, and she was convinced I had wasted my money. She tore a little piece off and offered it to him, and he took it. After a few more encouraging nibbles, I held a whole treat out to him to see if he would pull it out of my hand. Again my daughter was skeptical. Seymour never tugged at anything, never made any effort to take anything for himself. Of course I didn't hold it tight. I didn't know if he'd even come to me to give it a try. But he had seemed to like the pieces my daughter had given him. I'm sure you can guess the outcome. He took it in his teeth, gave a little tug, and walked away with the treat in his mouth. My daughter had tried other dog treats without success. This is the one Seymour liked. I can't imagine a better testimonial than that.

If I were to lay out all my dog's favorite treats, this one would disappear first. Not that she is a picky eater, I would classify her more as a gourmetic snob who prefers only the best, when it is available. The problem is, it is not always available. I signed up for the subscription to assure a regular monthly delivery; they have been out of stock for several weeks.So if you get a chance to buy some, do so but please some for my dog.

My dog just LOVES this treat! When she sees me opening the bag, she does her 3 tricks - sit, lay down and raise her paw all at once without even being asked. I give her this treat once each day, and if I don't go to the pantry to get the Milos's on time she reminds me by standing at the pantry door and crying softly. I'm happy to be able to give my sweet little girl something that she loves and that makes her so happy!

I like this product for a treat. I give them one each in the morning after we go out for potty break. The dogs really seem to like them. My dogs are small, so I break each slice in half before I give them to them. We finish the bag after several days and then I switch to meatballs or something else. I do not think it would be good to give these every single day.

These treats are the best. My dogs are allergic to so many products that I find it hard to give them treats until I started with Milo's sausage (allergic to the chicken ones). Purchasing from Amazon is easy, fast and a little less expensive than the stores.

My 10 month old maltese just loves these as a special snack. I cut them into slices since the slice is larger than she can handle at one time. Would recommend to anyone who just gives a special snack every now and then but not as an everyday thing because of the calories.
