These are sealed on both sides with a 608z stamped seal. 2 seals = 608zz. 1 seal = 608z

are these water tight to prevent liquids passing through them. I could you for repairing bearing on blender blades.

These are not water proof. Just pulled one out of a outdoor spinner. Been in the yard 1 year and I would oil it. Still got to the point the wind would not spin the outdoor spinner.

What does "Z" mean? I need one with an "S".

Although these are marketed for skateboards, these bearings are very common in Air Conditioners, specifically the main fan motor. Very good deal since you receive 10 in the package. If you have quite a few window air units in your house, these are handy to keep on hand when your AC unit starts howling like a jet engine. They seem like decent quality: matching what came from the factory.
