Works, helps with cable clutter
These adapters bend more easily than most HDMI cables, thus allowing a connection to the side of a laptop that can be bent out of the way easily, to free up space next to the laptop. I plugged both in when they arrived and they worked, at least with my 1080p monitor. (I don't have monitors to test with larger resolutions.)

Great for plugging in hdmi cables on your flat screen TV’s. Easier to plug your devices into away from the cramped space behind tv.

Just what we needed.
It was the right tool for the right job. We went to plug in our Roku stick into our soundbar where the wire requires a 90° turn. A Roku stick can't do that. This helped be that right length extension to be able to plug in the wire, do the 90° turn, then plug in the Roku. Problem solved.It was easy to use and install. I can't speak to the visual effect as it was for a non-smart TV, but I don't see any difference.

save your device ports with this option
The first set of these never made it but I got a replacement. They are easy to install. I noticed no issue in latency speeds or picture quality. The chords fit comfortably but not too tight or lose. I ran into no connection issues with these. I used them to get to the ports easily so i didn't have to try and snake them up the back of a wall mounted monitor. Combined with a switch to minimize wear and tear on my device ports.
