PURE ORIGINAL INGREDIENTS Ammonium Bicarbonate (120ml) by , Traditional Leavening Agent Used in Flat Baked Goods Such as Cookies or Crackers

Used this for my springerlies and they turned out great, and have kept good texture for almost a month. It smells terrible while you are baking it but is definitely worth it. Also I absentmindedly ate a piece of the dough and I would say it was about equal with getting jalapenos in my eyes for cooking induced suffering. I'm excited to try making crackers with it.

Worked well for my springerlie cookie recipe. Knocked off a star because I thought it came in a resealable package. My recipe only called for a small amount so hopefully the rest doesnt go bad since I rarely use it.

Worked well for making German springerle cookies for my Dad for Christmas. He loved them! Would have liked to buy a smaller package because I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the rest of it but I'll figure something out.

It's a bit expensive for the amount in the package, but it did its job to make the top of the char siu bao (roast port bun) burst open while steaming.

I've been baking Springerle cookies for several years, and this is the first time I've used Pure Organic Ammonium Bicarbonate. I've never had such spectacular results. The impressions were deep and the cookies held their shape. Was it the Pure Organic Ammonium Bicarbonate? Don't know but I used the same recipe and procedures as always. Will I continue to use Pure Organic? Oh yes, without a doubt. I couldn't be more pleased.
