Great Connectors for My Ham Radio Power Setup
I bought this 70Pcs 15/30/45 Amp Power Connectors with PVC Cover 1.5-6mm² (20-10AWG) battery connectors to terminate the power wires in a battery power box I built for my ham radio. Anderson-style Powerpoles have pretty much become the standard in the ham radio community, and these worked perfectly for making clean, reliable connections. The quality is solid, they fit well, and everything has been working smoothly. Very happy with the purchase. Potential Uses: Ham radio power connections DIY battery power boxes Quick-disconnect setups for portable radios RV and camper power accessories Low-voltage DC projects Power distribution blocks Off-grid and emergency power kits Disclaimer: This review is based on my personal experience only and is not professional electrical or installation advice. Always follow proper safety procedures and consult a qualified professional for any electrical work or wiring projects.

they're okay but they do have their issues
The price is decent and if you're looking for an okay connector and not the real deal, these do okay. That said they are not without their issues. They do not fit together without some fiddling. The plastic works fine, and I have not seen any problems with that but when you try to insert the inside part that is where you have to fiddle with them to get them to seat in correctly. You have to really check to make sure they are fitted, or they will come apart and cause you trouble. All this being said, I still buy them and have used them now a couple of years for projects and radio connections to power supplies. They so far have not given any troubles, or any melting to occur with amperage applied. They are pretty decent in that regards and the price you'd be hard pressed to beat.

Works GREAT!
I don't know what took me so long to jump onto the Power Pole bandwagon. One day I looked at a few of my devices and they all pretty much all had different power connectors. I suppose that if your equipment never moves and will always use the same power source, not having the same connectors isn't that big of a deal. For me that wasn't the case. I am a HAM radio operator and am constantly moving my stuff around. Sometimes out to the lab bench and even to my truck for some mobile operations. I guess what made me make the switch was when I took a transceiver over to a friend's house and forgot to bring a mating power connector along. He and most of his pals used Power Pole connectors exclusively. One of the cool things is that the15, 30 and 45 amp contacts all use the same housing. This way they will all connect to each other. The size of the contact area is the same for all of the contacts with the only difference between them is the size of the contact barrel that accepts the wire. The big debate is whether to crimp or solder the wire to the connector. Well, we all should know that a good mechanical connection is the first thing to do when soldering a connection. Power Pole strongly suggests crimping. Personally, I crimp and then solder. The most important thing is to make sure that whatever crimper you use it must keep the barrel part of the connector round. So I am now one of the many Power Pole promoters. I think that all of us ham radio operators use these connectors. Think about this one scenario. One of our primary missions is to be prepared to assist in emergency situations. Wouldn't it be advantageous for all of us to have compatible power connectors if we took our equipment to the field or another "Remote" location? Need to be further away from the power source? An extension cord is easy to build even with a larger gauge wire because it will still fit the other connectors. Enough said. I like these connectors as well as some of the accessories available such as a chassis/bulkhead connector and especially the rubber style boots.

Power Connectors: Affordable Efficiency
The Smseace 40Pcs 30Amp Power Connectors are the quintessential example of "you get what you pay for," but in a surprisingly good way. I went into this purchase with my wallet feeling light and my expectations even lighter, but these connectors have proven that sometimes, cheaper can still mean effective. Let's address the elephant in the room: the build quality. Yes, they do feel a bit on the cheaper side – not exactly the heavy-duty material that you'd write epic tales about. But, and it's a big but, they work surprisingly well. It's like finding a pair of budget sneakers that unexpectedly last through a marathon. Installation is a breeze, something I appreciate as someone who doesn't want to spend hours fiddling with overly complicated gadgets. These connectors are like the friendly neighbors of the electrical world – easy to get along with and surprisingly reliable. In terms of performance, they handle the 30Amp load without breaking a sweat. It's like having a lightweight boxer who can punch way above his weight class. Sure, they might not have the robust feel of more expensive connectors, but they hold their own where it counts. Overall, the Smseace 40Pcs 30Amp Power Connectors are a solid choice for anyone looking for a cost-effective solution without sacrificing performance. They're the little engine that could of power connectors – not the shiniest or the strongest, but they'll get you to where you need to go. Just maybe handle them with a bit of care.

Worked well for me
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Wanted to experiment with Anderson Power Pole tech without paying a premium price. Value for money: Worked as expected except that assembly is a bit finicky. An insertion/extraction tool is necessary if using these a lot. Crimping with a generic crimper is fine if you use good technique.

Beware!
Connects don’t stay connected. Even though snap in place, just pull apart. Can’t even connect to plugs pull out leaving exposed wire. No quality whatsoever.
