Magnet is not very strong. I tested it and it pulls apart with less than 400g. It is lockable though, but I find that the lock sometimes accidentally disengages, which leaves only the weak magnet to secure the clip.

Simple design. Easy but firm locking slide mechanism. Super Strong magnet. I have 3 already. Great for car keys when you don’t want to drag the house keys around in your pocket or just to give the car key to a valet.

This is the best design for mag quick disconnect. Important note, I clip my keys to my front belt loop. The plunger style ones would get disconnected for me when I'd have a seat belt on and been sitting for a long time. And the magent only ones would break away sometimes also in the same scenario. As I am repeatedly getting up and down putting seat belt on and off this makes me nervous. So far been using quite awhile and it has not been able to overcome both methods that this one deploys. I doubt it will ever slide the locking mechanism up that way. So I feel pretty confident in using this design. There has also been no rusting or scratching away of the finish. It seems to me to be quality materials. I do wish it had been just a bit bigger but that's a tiny nitpick and I'm fine with how it is.

I got this to go on my Viperade pouch (loops) for my house keys and car keys. I like the compact design. It locks, which is great for keeping your keys in place. One small issue though, it was raining and I was trying to unlock it to get out of the weather and into the house. It is slippery and difficult when wet. If there was texture, like a rubber o ring to fit into the barrel grooves (even just one groove), it would be perfect. Until then, I have to remember to unlock it when it's dry in the car or before leaving the house on rainy days. Knocking a star. but otherwise I love the design and purpose.

Very tiny

The box was badly crushed. Sure, the contents were fine, but the box is part of the product. Failing to take care with packaging shows they don’t take their customers seriously. They don’t deserve a positive review.
