Purchased this to try and stop our cat from peeing infront of front door inside the house. It has had absolutely no effect on the cat as he is still peeing in same place. This stuff does not work don't waste your money.

This spray has helped stop another flat resident dog from constantly peeing on my door; however, although it has prevented scent marking, the spray absolutely stinks of strong vinegar. I was expecting a citronella/lemon scent as per the description, but it's an eye-watering vineger smell that lingers and can be smelt on all three flat floors as well as in my flat, even after just 1-2 sprays. I'm glad it stops the dog from peeing at my door, but it's at an unpleasent smelly cost. I do think it's worth it if you can put up with the smell of the spray, but I'm not sure I would use it long-term. I've gone three days without respraying the area and still no dog pee, so I am hoping either the dog is still put off by the smell or that the spray has helped get the dog out of peeing on my front door.

Used just ones but its working pretty well!No problems with the cat anymore.High recommended!

I bought this for my nephew whose dog was urinating in house, when I asked him he was dismissive of it said not much use

Only 4 stars as I only bought it yesterday and will review again in a week or so. BUT it did deterred my very nervous cat from peeing in one particular corner (!) rather than venture outside on her own in the middle of the night last night. We've tried everything up until now so, so far so good. I'm not as enamoured with the 'fresh' scent as other reviewers have mentioned but it's ok and to be preferred to the smell of cat urine which however much you scrub and freshen a carpet, will still linger. My only 'gripe' is that only two small pads arrived with the spray bottle.... might be all you need but if you have numerous locations then you'd need more or perhaps use towel strips as one review suggested. I'm currently using those two pads, placed a foot apart on the carpet ( not stuck to the wall or skirting) and that's doing the trick. My cat won't go near them or (YEA !!!!) that corner.UPDATED REVIEW: Nope not working.... worked for two nights but then my cat returned to that corner with the sprayed pads, a sprayed towel and sprayed newspaper underneath those but on top of the carpet and she still urinated!!!!!! Soooo frustrating. For us it's back to basic litter training again

My latest puppy came to me at 12 weeks and had not been given the basics of house training so it's been harder than usual to get her onto the wee mats or ask to go in the garden, so this looked like a good idea.Firstly it had leaked in the packet - it might be a better idea to ship with a normal lid and you attached the spray nozzle on arrival.A plus is that it came with two patches about 5cm square which you can spray onto and leave down - a plus if you don;t want to spray on your carpet.So far she has not wee-d near the patches so I can only presume that it's doing some good.Certainly worth a try if you have a pooch that likes to leave it's mark!
