Thinner than expected so you have to change frequently. Its absorbent as it should be. Muslin cotton on the front, non absorbent drool resistant on the back.

Not a fan of the colors, but I purchased them for functionality, not aesthetics. I love that they are adjustable and very absorbent. They are a good size. They cover the baby's chest really well. There is no such thing as having too many of these, because when your baby enters the drooling phase, they have to be changed a couple of times a day.
