Better than expected
I was expecting a lightweight emitter, but was pleasantly surprised with its sturdiness. Attack it with a 4-1/2” id coupler either pvc or river boot.

Excellent gutter drain guard
Nice well made product. Works great and looks good. I feel the price point is on the high end for something like this but I needed the particular design for my landscaping.

Exactly what I was hoping to find.
This is very well built and fit perfectly into a French drain i built. Like this much better than the popup solution

Quality part but expensive
Very robust molding and SSTL screw holds the grate to the fitting. You'll need at least 1 screw to secure the fitting to your drain pipe. Use SSTL to avoid rust. It does flow a lot of water but the "fountain" was a surprise. It's a nice part but too expensive to fit to all my downspouts.

Arrived broken- twice!
The unit arrived broken, initially and the replacement. Seems design or manufacturing flaw as pressure from screw caused crack

Blends into the hillside and keeps vermin out
We have a downspout which I needed to extend away from the house so it emerges on a slope. This emitter was the perfect way of discharging water onto the slope, yet slowing it down and keeping varmints from nesting up inside the pipe.The OD of the fitting is the same as the OD of 4" ABS pipe, so you will need a coupling.
