Nice cleaning kit.
I like everything in this kit. The brushes have nice wooden handles without the rough, unsanded surfaces that cheap brushes have. The saddle soap lathers nicely.

complete kit
This is a great set for your leather needs to clean and preserve. I appreciate the brushes. This worked fine on an old leather suitcase in need of help. I only wish the box was sturdier as it arrived broken and ripped and the containers all over the place. If it were a stronger box, then everything could be stored together.

Great Kit! Lasts Long!
As a horse enthusiast with a ton of leather gear for my horses and dogs, I needed a good kit to keep my leather in tip top condition. This kit is amazing for that. It comes with everything needed for cleaning leather, from the soap to the brushes. The brushes I am particularly pleased with. They are soft to the touch and won't scratch or else wise damage the leather. The soap also lasts a long time and works really well to clean the leather without discoloration. I highly recommend trying this and am happy I went with my gut and tried it as well.

Basic Leather Cleaning, Natural Products
Handy packable sized leather cleaning kit -- excellent for tack, natural leather belts, shoes, pouches, etc. Two separate cleaning products -- a "saddle soap" and a liquid cleaner. Information about the products and their use is a little spare, but the liquid cleaner appears to have a number of natural leather feeding products (various oils) that function as something of a conditioner. Two small, round, wood and natural bristle medium weight brushes make getting to small fiddly bits on tack easier; a similar full sized buffing brush is still small enough to pack easily. Microfiber cloth rounds out the kit for use with cleaning products and buffing.A good basic set without a lot of unnatural products -- would be a full five star rating but a lack of clear or helpful instructions means it is a kit for a person that already knows the leather cleaning drill. And although it comes in a cardboard box, it is not sturdy enough for storage. Kit might benefit by including a basic container -- a simple muslin draw string bag would do, and add value.Over all, however, a good purchase, especially if you are more natural-product oriented.

Compares Favorably to Devoucoux
The company shipped this package crazy fast....one day service. I was a bit disappointed opening the small box because the jar and bottle are small. If you do some pricing, you will see much cheaper products everywhere for maintaining your tack. However, I would say this is not an every day cleaning kit.The soap and conditioner are premium products and I think eventually the Rhino folks will market it that way to justify the price and explain why this is worth the price. If you look in the picture, you will see the left side of my Circle Y breast plate cleaned and conditioned. You can see that the leather was already pretty clean on both sides, but now cleaner on the left. What you can't see, of course, is how the leather feels after conditioning and an hour of drying. By the way, the company recommends a 12 hour dry before using. Anyhow, the leather feels amazing. The bees wax gives the leather a little bit of tack. My wife loves the soft stickiness of a really good conditioner that helps plant her in her English saddle. The castor oil penetrates the leather for softening and bend. The best soap and conditioner you can get a hold of, in my wife's opinion, is the French soap and conditioner from the snooty folks at Devoucoux. We bought our stash at the Wellington Winter Show a couple of years ago and my wife loves it. The Rhino kit is similar in quality to the Devoucoux equivalent. She is not a pro jumper by any means, but it's what the pros use. The pro jumpers have 20 year old saddles that still look new. Sure, they have sponsors giving them new saddles all the time, but when the right one gets broken in and well maintained it keeps getting used. The point is that gentle soaps and quality conditioners (and plenty of regular maintenance) greatly extend the life of your saddle. If you've priced saddles lately, you know that higher end conditioning products are well worth it.I wasn't about to try Rhino Wax on one of my wife's crazy expensive saddles, but when my wife feels the breast plate, I'm sure she will try it one of her top saddles. Like the Devoucoux products, a little goes a long way. You see in the marketing pictures that a ton of soap is being used, but you can get by with a lot less.I used one of the circular brushes with the soap and the brush is very soft and didn't even think about leaving a mark on the leather. So, the verdict is....LOVE IT!! Just wish there was a little more of it.A nice product. Recommended for finer leather.

All around multiuse awesomeness
I recently had the pleasure of trying out the Rhino Wax Saddle Cleaning Kit, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. This comprehensive kit includes everything you need for thorough saddle cleaning and routine tack maintenance. The saddle soap and leather cleaner work wonders, effortlessly lifting dirt and grime while conditioning the leather to keep it supple and protected. The included brushes are of excellent quality, making it easy to get into all the nooks and crannies, and the cloths are soft and absorbent, perfect for buffing to a brilliant shine. One of the standout features of this kit is its versatility. It’s not just limited to saddles; I used it on my bridles, boots, reins, and straps with equally impressive results. The fact that it’s made in the USA adds an extra layer of confidence in its quality and safety standards.Overall, the Rhino Wax Saddle Cleaning Kit is a fantastic investment for any equestrian enthusiast. It's user-friendly, effective, and ensures that all your leather gear stays in top-notch condition. Highly recommended!
