Got this for my wife for a birthday present. Works absolutely great. Its no commerical mill by any means so it takes some time to crank through grain, but it does a great job and its setup/takedown is easy if you don't want to keep it on the counter all the time.

If you’re on the fence, just go ahead and buy it and get the motor, too. I haven’t used the hand crank yet - just the motor. The noise level is no louder than my vacuum cleaner. The mill and motor store well in a drawer. Assembly was a breeze. I was skeptical about how fine it would mill the flour, but I’m pleasantly impressed. I wanted to try home milling, but couldn’t justify the cost of some of the other machines on the market. I can’t compare it to other mills regarding milling quality, but for my needs, this one is perfect.

I originally gave this 1 star as the adjustment knob would not stay on therefore we could not grind wheat berries. I contacted the manufacturer and they gave clearer instructions than were in the instruction book and we were able to resolve the problem. It is working fine now. I appreciate their quick response to the issue!

I waited some time before leaving this review so that we could get some more time to use this mill. I can say without a doubt that the bread my wife makes is 1000% better! The flavor of wheat berries is noticeable but it's so good. The mill grinds through them without any issue. I will like to add that when we purchased this mill with the motor it was missing in box. After a conversation with the seller, they sent a motor right away. They are responsive and quick! This mill helps our family make nutritional and delicious baked food.

I’ve been using this mill for quite a few months every few days and it’s been doing good until today the electric part of the mill that makes it so I don’t have to hand crank it started sparking and not working, but I really do like the mill itself. It’s sturdy. It’s strong. It’s reliable. It makes a nice fine flower. for the price and beat it. But three stars because the moto gave out today.

UPDATE: PURCHASED DEC. 2024. TODAY IT OFFICIALLY CRASHED AND WON'T CONNECT THE MOTOR TO THE UNIT TO RUN. JUNE 17 2026. DO NOT BUY THIS. IT'S ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Not easy to assemble as motor does not sit flush no matter how we try. We have had it for a couple of years now and it just seems to get louder and louder. My head hurts from it. It randomly gets clogged up, which may be normal. It overheats in the midst of milling 6 cups of grain so making a couple of loaves of bread is a chore. So, for the price,... I'd recommend saving up for something that won't give you a headache and make your children run to the hills. We are now planning sometime in the future to purchase a better unit from somewhere else.
