I am very glad I bought this.
This worked very well over fingernail polish I have painted on my car to hide bad scratches, with this the polish looks almost like it just disappears into the rest of the paint. This stuff is excellent!

Highly highly recommend!
I had some pretty bad top coat scuffs on my 4runner, along with some paint chips. I thought I would try this gloss before doing something expensive and I'm honestly surprised how well it worked! It didn't help the paint chips of course but I figured it would seal the metal from getting moisture and rusting. I'm in a dry state so I don't know how well it would work in a humid state, just something to keep in mind. See the before and after photos of 2 different areas!

Overall good value if you’re doing DIY automotive touch-ups
I used Auto Paint Depot High Gloss Clear Coat to finish a small wheel touch-up, and it did exactly what I needed. The brush went on smoothly with good control, and it laid down a nice, even gloss without running—as long as I kept the coats light. Dry time was reasonable, and once cured, it felt durable enough for everyday use. It’s not a perfect match for a true polished or chrome finish, but for painted metal or wheels.

Not entirely waterproof?
I don’t hate this product, but people search for lowest star reviews first and yall should know this is sort of water soluble. I tested it on some metal jewelry I own before using it on my car, and when the metal with topcoat was wet for about 15minutes, some areas started to gum up and could be wiped off. Not too confident about using this on my car since my car will definitely get rained on, and hopefully this is just an issue with my bottle, but it’s weird so be aware

Works great on filled in paint chips! Would reccomend applying after your main color coat cures for atleast 24 hours and then wait another 24 before polishing/buffing. I got it to look pretty great and I’m a newbie.
