When I read the other reviews about the smell of the bag I was a little concerned but I have to say when I received my beautifully made bag I have nothing but praise, nothing unpleasant in the odour, it's faint. Two zipped pockets inside the bag are handy for the tack we females like to keep hidden, not large pockets but adequate. The rounded shape of the bag is perfect exactly what I have been searching and trolling numerous sites for and then zap up popped this one on Amazon. I truly adore it, the handle is a little thin in girth but strong and long. Amongst the packing was a card with a goat pictured on the front and details of the manufacturer a nice little touch and also a cotton drawstring bag to store the bag.

I have been using this bag over a year now and I have to say I am quite pleased with it. I admit that the leather was the slightest bit softer than I expected it to be but there is ample length of shoulder strap for folks of all shapes and sizes (I cut mine to get it to the length I wanted). It has two inner pockets (back and front) with zippers. I can easily fit my purse, phone, keys and a few other small items. I consider this bag a good buy and I would recommend anybody who buys this bag to fill it with a spare t-shirt or two when you're not using it to help it retain its shape.

Love my new bag nice and spacious, plenty of room for all my worldly goods, had to put a few extra holes in the strap, as i am only short so hung down to low, the only downfall is the smell of the leather it is very strong and my dog wants to attack it

its a bit smaller than i thought,the strap at the top is thinner than the rest of the strap, im a bit worried that it will snap if to muc.h weight is carried in the bag.i still like the bag though.

Love it. I can see why some reviewers might think the strap is flimsy, it isn't the most robust, but if you don't carry around the kitchen sink, I think you'll be fine. I use it everyday, and nothing has broken/torn. Was a but smelly when it came, but that has all but gone now. I think how well you cope with it depends on your sensibilities. Colour is rich and deep, and is darkening a little, is like a conker. Love it.

It's a lovely looking bag, but the smell of goat is rather overpowering! I received this as a gift and unfortunately I haven't been able to use it at all - we have had to banish it to the attic, in the hopes that it can lose some of its odour over time, but sadly I fear that this bag may never see the light of day!I was so disappointed and wish there had been some guidance on how to get rid of the smell, I thought that the smell would dissipate after a day or two, but even after a couple of weeks in the spare room (before being banished to the roof) it was still overpowering and the room took some airing afterwards as well.

I like this bag even more than I expected. It has the slight smell as mentioned on other reviews - but not unpleasant and has already faded considerably. It is a good everyday size for carrying a lot if items. I have had a couple of extra holes put in the strap as I am quite short and it was hanging a little too low. I like an across the body bag and this is ideal.

love this bag although a bit smelly! was REALLY ANNOYED to see that the price has been reduced by nearly half what i paid for it & i've only had it a week!!! not a happy bunny!!!! bag is lovely though & great long strap! colour much darker, i thought it would be a lighter tan. only other thing was the stitching, when you look inside bag you can see gaps but, seems secure enough!
