Hi all, for retaining wall, how many lights per linear ft gives good enough light without the dark areas along the wall? one for every 3 feet?

Anda, in part it depends on the height of your wall, mine is 2' and 3' spacking would work for no deark areas. My spacing is 5-6' which I'd like to reduce the spacking to 4-5' to have a little more light again being under lip lighting, its more of an accent and for safety on the steps. I hope this helps.

How do I install these in a landscape wall I just built and put the cap on?

If you run your wire in a pre-cut channel you can place the cap on after it has been installed.

how do i replace the bulb?

They are sealed and not replaceable.
