PURPLE LEAF 10' x 10' Outdoor Aluminum Pergola White Heavy-Duty Retractable Pergola Patio Metal with Double Sun Shade Canopy for Backyard Gardens Deck, White

It really adds a nice ambiance to the back area, and has now created another lovely backyard living space that we enjoy. Only thing I wished it had provided: There was no way to hang swag curtains, so I bought white metal poles (Home Depot) and placed them along the sides, so I could drape white flowing bishop sleeve style fabrics- really enhanced the pergola's elegant look. Love the retractable top but unfortunately you do need to pull it back when it rains, so that water won't collect on top of fabric and risk weighting it down if heavy rain, and thus, the furniture that sits underneath is not protected from the rain. Can't have both! But I love it!

Title: Disappointing Quality After Less Than One Year I have owned this pergola for approximately one year, and unfortunately, the quality has not lived up to the overwhelmingly positive reviews. The product arrived damaged and was also missing screws. Although the company sent replacement screws, it did nothing to address the damage to the pergola itself. Additional problems developed over time. The canopy is extremely difficult to clean, even after I manually removed and washed it. The retractable support poles have rusted, and the canopy does not properly attach to the clips provided. I reported the clip issue to the company, but it was never resolved. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I cannot in good conscience recommend this product. An outdoor pergola should remain functional and should not develop significant rust in less than one year—particularly under normal use in Southern California. Based on my experience, the product quality and customer support were both well below what I expected.
