Perfect length for me for flushing/draining hot water tank. Quality fittings, no leaks and can handle hot temperatures (although I don't have my hw tank set to scalding).

I bought this hose specifically to drain my hot water tank, and it worked perfectly. The rubber construction feels high-quality and much more durable than standard garden hoses, especially when dealing with hot water. I had no issues handling high temperatures, and the 500 PSI rating gave me confidence it wouldn’t kink or burst during draining. The brass fittings are solid and threaded on smoothly with no leaks, and the finger-grip bend restrictors really help prevent stress at the ends. It’s lightweight for a rubber hose but still feels rugged and dependable. Great length for reaching a floor drain, and it coils up nicely afterward. Excellent hose for maintenance tasks where durability and heat resistance actually matter.

Finally a product that is as advertised! These hoses are top notch in the quality dept. Built for the long haul. If your looking for a hose that will last and not break the bank. Look no further this is it! Built like a tank. Hide ends are very robust. And will last a life time. Hose material also appears to be very rugged. A little bit difficult to un coil and lay flat. As the rubber built a memory. From being coiled tightly after manufacture. A small trade off for the excellent quality however. These hose are a real pleasure to use!

It’s hard to find a 3/4” hose that is 100 feet in length. After using this on the ranch for a year, I’m really impressed. It’s light and doesn’t kink. The 3/4” diameter provides less resistance and greater water pressure compared to the smaller diameter hoses. When it arrives new, it smells like a brand new tire from the tire store, and it has a light coating of clear grease from the factory that goes away after a few days of use. It is hard to coil up and uncoil, however. The rubber wants to hold a specific orientation and it kinks easily when changing the way it rotates. This is an excellent hose if you just keep it laying where it needs to be, rather than a hose that is meant for coiling in a stored location.

The other reviews leave me a bit baffled on this one. Everything about this hose is nice. It's a very high quality hose, the only verdict for me is if it is better than the heavy commercial continental/michelin hoses which typically cost 2 - 3 times as much. And for comparison, I have a similar, blue even, 100ft continental rubber hose that's been sitting in contact with the ground for my garden bed in the back of my 1 acre property. It's been working perfectly for about 5 years now with no protection from the sun or anything, so that's basically my bar for a really nice hose. Make sure you unroll this and don't just pull hose from the loops upon opening, this way there are no twists in it and kinking should be minimal. Mine layed out almost completely flat with no memory, nothing even close to a kink even without water. Fittings are stainless steel, and not aluminum or some crap fake-brass metal like many cheap hoses come with. It is definitely lighter than what one might expect for a 3/4 rubber hose but the material feels really durable. I'll update my review if this doesn't last, either the hose or the fittings, but this is one of the better hoses I've come across for the price.

Kink resistance

This is a very well-made product and worth the purchase price. Be aware, though, that it is so well-made that it is almost overkill for simple lawn and garden needs. It is sturdy and somewhat rigid, and difficult to roll up when you’re done. I bought the 100-foot length and haven’t tried it with a hose winder but I doubt if my simple garden hose spools would work… it’s that heavy-duty. If you’re running a landscaping business or need to water large areas, this would be a good back-bone connection to the spigot, but as for ease-of-use in a residential setting, it’s overqualified.

This is the worst kinking hose ever!! It’s a super heavy duty hose but you can’t even use it it kinks so bad! I wish we could return it and get our money back. We've stored it over the winter and started using it this spring. I've had some really long hoses that lasted 16 years and I was in need of a replacement. I've spliced and repaired and replaced ends on a number of hoses and finally did some research to buy a good hose that would, hopefully, last a long time. This is a heavy rubber hose which leads me to believe it will be durable. The tolerances on the threaded faucet end are so close that a wrench is required to attach it to a water source. Further, the hose does nothing but kink and pinch. I've never owned a hose that is this bad and I've generally bought inexpensive vinyl hoses that at times would kink and crack but I could repair. I'd generally go a few years between repairs. This hose now sits aside a 16 year old hose I've just repaired again. My wife rolls it out and untwists it to use on a soaker line. It's otherwise pretty useless. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Added on 3/26/25 Used the hose for the first time this season. The connections on this hose are so tight, I've had to twist the entire 50 feet to attempt to remove it from the hose bib on the house. It just won't spin independently. I've had to cut the hose off the house and will throw this away. This is the worst product I've ever purchased on Amazon. You can't give it zero stars.

Muy buena calidad PERO bastante pesada

This hose is incredibly sturdy and handles hot water like a champ. It’s strong, reliable, and feels like it’s built to last. Definitely does the job without any issues!

I really like this brand of hose. I have 2 100’ on a spool and now this leader. Super quality. The only improvement would be brass fittings but then it would cost even more. It will kink but those pop out very easily. We’ve been using the spool of 2 hoses for about 5 years on our acre of lawn with absolutely no issues.
