My daughter lives in a flat and when she moved in, the carpets were really tatty. Since then they have taken up the carpets and left the floorboards bare with just a large rug. We stayed with her recently and came home with bites on our ankles. We thought of bed bugs but knew it wasn't as she and her partner often come and stay at ours and if it were bed bugs we would have them too. We concluded that it must be dust mites from the old carpet that had got down through the floor board gaps. We sprayed the entire flat with this spray . It didn't smell too awful and the smell faded quickly. We were glad to know it is safe for children and pets as my daughter has a couple of cats. Dust mites can cause all kinds of allergies so it is good to ensure your home is dust mite free. We think it must have worked as we stayed recently and had no rash or bite issues. They do say that you should spray this every few months to ensure that any eggs that may have been left do not get to hatch and breed. This is safe to spray on carpets furniture, beds , matresses , anywhere that dust mites may be lurking.

The spray said you could use it on a bed mattress so I used it on a fabric headboard in the morning It dried completely by the night time but the next morning I had a headache and my eyes were puffy I think as a result from the spray. I contacted the company who kindly refunded me.

It says "dust mite spray," but upon reading the bottle, it's actually effective on most insects as well. The bottle instructs to spray a fine mist over items, but I found the spray to be not very fine, dispensing quite large drops. On hard surfaces, it dries and leaves a mark, but it did wipe off. It has a smell that I thought was a bit peppermint-like, so pets might not like it.

Excellent product that works exactly as described. Large bottle and easy to spray and eradicated dust mites. I have a dusty room and can tell when I had some dust mites here and there. This stuff is powerful and sorted it out. Very good value for the money.
