this is an grate combat stabber knife, over 16 inch overall, fit very good in my hand, comes very sharp and sheath is very nice. both knife and sheath are good quality, you will not be sorry if you order one.

Well made and a GREAT value
I've been wanting a blade in this form factor for a long time. Right out of the box I loved the construction and the balance. It grips nicely in your hand with a surface texture that is very grippy without being too aggressive. The blade was perfect and arrived 95-97% of the sharpeness I prefer. I give the knife a 99 out of 100 ESPECIALLY since it is about 1/5 - 1/4 the price of it's major competitor. The sheath that comes with it is what disappointed me. It IS well made but the outdated, Bowie knife style doesn't suit it for modern carry and usage. I don't know of ANYONE who will dangle this blade off of a belt, dangling down their leg. People in every knife forum for YEARS have been complaining about the wrap around snap closures on "belt knives" that always get in the way.A modern, more tactical sheath, molded from kydex or similar plastic that has good retention and some vertical and horizontal molle attachment points to mount on a pack or other gear would make this an almost perfect package. I would rather pay a bit more for a truly usable sheath.I RECOMMEND this knife 100% for it's quality and price point.

Tip seems weak,
The hollow grind seems to leave a very thin tip, it is so thin it seems it could break easily.

Nice blade
Good weight and balance,it's 440, so don't expect it to hold an edge as well as stronger steel,it's a budget Tanto blade, it gets pretty sharp, comes with a nice sheath, and looks great.

You'll miss having a solid place to anchor your thumb for a sturdy 'reverse grip' - the main fighting configuration in kungfu knife for spinning, dropping and surprise moves. Reverse grip is most important in training a horizontal, smooth, across the midline awarenes of the edge and the sort of acceleration and slide that creates a cut. Crossing the midline shows the defensive purpose of the knife and serves as a warning, especially with a 180 degree spinning, back-step turn. This knife is long enough and heavy enough to feel like a short sword. You'll enjoy the heft and balance as you practice wrist movements and twists.
