It was not what I expected. The runway mat is extremely cheap, you can see through it, and the tower is small. However the children are playing with it, which is all that matters really, the 3 star review.I would not purchase this again if I knew how cheaply made it is.

I have mixed feelings about this airport set because my son loves it, but I am not overly impressed. Let me list for you some of the things I did not love. 1) for how small it is, there was a decent amount of assembly and stickers to place. I am assuming a lot of this was for packing purposes, but it was a bit annoying. 2) the quality of the materials is not top notch. It is good enough, but I don't feel like this set will last long term. 3) the roads/backdrop piece is just folded plastic. Again, okay for my sons desires, but not quality.You will have to decide whether you think the price is low enough for a toy that is unlikely to last long, but if you have an airplane/airport loving child, it might be worth it.

The helicopter broke within 10 seconds of opening the box. The plastic is super light and breaks easily. My toddler is almost 4. Definitely for older kids. Make sure to look at the last product picture to know exactly which vehicles are included. Based on the first picture, I assumed I would receive 3 airplanes--nope! Other than rolling wheels, the parts on the vehicles don't really move. The tow truck arm lifts about 2mm.
