I purchased this cane some time ago in anticipation of needing them following knee replacement surgery. This truly turned into one of the best purchases I’ve made in 2025. The handle is so comfortable! It easily supports my weight when walking and does not flex. If you purchase these specifically to assist your walking, PURCHASE THE LARGER FOOT accessory to go along with it. It is wonderful. While I’m recovering from knee surgery, I feel very confident in this cane…being solid hardwood, I don’t have any fears at all of it breaking. The cane design is simple, but very elegant.. feels fashionable and the finish is lovely. It is extremely important you get the correct size, though, so follow their measurement instructions on the purchase page. I did. It was a perfect fit. I definitely recommend this cane to anyone who wants something that is supportive and more fashionable than a standard cane. You won’t regret the purchase. But do keep in mind that this cane is solid wood, so if you plan to use this cane for a long period of time and expect to use it in inclement weather or wet conditions often, you might want to consider metal or carbon fiber instead.

Had a little accident and broke several bones in my left foot. According to the doc, a cane will be a good idea even after the bones heal. So I decided if I'm gonna be on the gimpy side, I'm at least going to do it with style. Though the price of this cane was considerably higher than most, I can now attest that -- da-yum -- it was SO worth it! The craftsmanship is evident from the moment you take the cane from the carefully-packed box. In a word, it is beautiful! It feels super-solid in the hand and the weight, while not exactly "heavy," is definitely substantial; it inspires confidence. Also, I'm not a violent guy, but this thing would work about as well as a baseball bat with regard to self-defense. It's that formidable. The handle is meticulously crafted and fits my hand like I was born with it there. The finish is impeccable and the brass band is a thing of beauty. Seriously, everything about this cane just screams quality and brilliant design. I bought a slightly longer one than I thought I might need and cut it down to size (removing about an inch) with a miter box saw. The rubber foot was a tiny bit difficult to remove, but that has to be the case in order to keep it in place during heavy usage. It's also nice that they sent along a second rubber foot and a wrist strap, though I'm not using that at the moment. I got the deep cherry red finish on mine and it looks GREAT. I've been using mine for the past week or two and can attest that it works about as well as one could hope for. It feels like a natural extension of my arm and provides all the support I'll (hopefully) ever need. If you're looking for the best cane for any money, look no further. You're not going to find anything better. This thing is essentially perfect, and that's not a word I use often.

I severely dislocated my ankle in April, followed by corrective surgery, and this is the first time I've had a cane. I started with a folding one that stands on its own, but I found it would get caught, stepped on, etc and it would come apart. I decided to bite the bullet and buy a good wooden one. I agonized on price but I am amazed at the quality. It is beautiful, and while I have no issue with it I will mention that the cane is further than the metal one I have, to the point that if you have a smaller hand or lighter grip you may be a tad uncomfortable with the grip. But the quality is pristine. I will be buying my father one who is permanently disabled specifically because I believe in the product and it made such an impact. It is resilient, it is fantastic quality, and it definitely impresses on sight!

It really is that good. I have a small collection of strong, well designed walking canes, and this tasteful, highly practical model from Asterom (a family business in Ukraine) is among the most well crafted, most handsome and ergonomically inviting of all. Their leather strap accessory is a perfect handy addition by the way. Every aspect of the simple, solid assembly was a gratifying process of discovery of the excellent quality top to bottom, including the impressive metal ring at the neck of the shaft and the overall attractive oak mine tinted in there muted crimson (which as you see is classy enough for any occasion) used throughout the item. I know my exact length so I bought the correct one for me but these of course can be shortened with a simple handsaw at the foot if purchased a bit too long for you. I've only added my personal favorite cap where the rubber meets the road. I've provided the pic so you can see how perfect and how almost lovely it is while also being a solid and practical product for smart buyers. It's also a value at this remarkable price and I'm delighted to buy from a Ukrainian family business.

Right height, looks good. I didn't expect hand crafted nor did I receive that level of workmanship but looks just fine when you want to be stylish. My husband also says it is very comfortable to use.

Very Nice walking-cane. Hand-carved/sculpted handle feel and fits great...with an assurance of being strong. The price-point seemed eing at the hi-end, (comparatively to many others offered. However, I purchased this one, figuring supporting me and saving me from a fall being far more important than spending an extra $40. in protecting me from such mishaps. I've had this, (my 1st cane), about two months, using it and carrying it on my tractor and lawnmower, accidentally dropping it several times and even running over it on my lawn-mower...and so there's a couple of nicks now in the handle, but the unit has held-up great through all the dropping it on concrete floors etc...it still looks nice, I just sanded-off the rough-edges from the mishaps of chips in the handle...(but I needed a strong cane to support me out-side handy while working in the yard and fields and shop. I'm getting more accustomed to needing my walking-cane with me and so now more accustomed to keeping it from falling odd the tractor and lawn-mower, instead of loosing it or dropping it everywhere (ha) ...it's STILL a beautiful sturdy cane.

Canes are absolutely beautiful. Workmanship is wonderful and wood grain is stunning. I liked my cane so much I special ordered a second cane. Customer Service is as good as the cane and they are very proud of their product. I wanted a dress up cane for evenings and special functions where a metal cane just didn’t fit the occasion. Asterom Canes are a beautiful addition to any outfit and occasion. Suggestion, Definitely use the cane strap with a wooden cane, especially when around hard floor, dropping the cane handle can chip. Asterom Canes are a great accessory and handmade artistry and should be treated as such. Canes are beautiful and I would highly recommend.

Muy bonito, se ve de excelente calidad, fino y fácil de manejar, además para las personas que apenas empiezan a usar bastón como el caso de mi esposo, les levanta su autoestima al no verse como un simple bastón de hospital.

Super product, well-made and it's great to find a quality product from Ukraine. The options list is small on the Amazon site, a brochure which came with the cane showed many more colours and several length options. The caramel I purchased is fine, an attractive stain of the oak these sticks are made from. The standard length is 36" and that proved to be close to optimum for me. The cane feels sturdy, without being especially heavy, and the grip feels good in either hand. The hanger loop which comes with the cane looks a bit light, but it fits well and I've found it to be really handy. Overall, a fantastic walking stick whose quality justifies the price tag.
