Even in poor weather like we tend to have here like 9 months out of the year, they charged and stayed lit for a long while after dark.First off, let's talk design. This fixture exudes a classic outdoor light aesthetic, reminiscent of traditional fixtures flanking a door. What sets it apart is its unique round center, situated away from the wall, providing superior illumination compared to flat-panel LED lights.Installation was a breeze, thanks to the included hardware. Once the base is securely connected to the wall, attaching the unit is a cinch. The motion sensor has been spot-on, and solar charging has been reliable thus far.In terms of specs, this lamp boasts 250 lumens, with a 25W output and a minimum battery capacity of 2000 mAh. That's some serious power and brightness. I particularly appreciate the sizable solar panel, positioned almost horizontally for optimal sunlight exposure. Plus, the included mounting bracket allows for a distance of about 1.75 inches from the wall.The light source itself is housed in a sturdy plastic cylinder, providing excellent diffusion and durability while maintaining an elegant aesthetic. These Phillips solar lights work great so far. They were very easy to install on my shed. I like that the solar panel is built into the unit, so no separate panels to install. They produce a good amount of light at night and is pretty consistent every night.

I love these lamps, as they seem to tick all the boxes I would desire, or nearly so. Surely they tick all they profess.First, the build quality, while simple, is solid. The install is also very straight forward, about all you would hope for. Simply attach the bracket and slide on. Easy peasy.The function is also straightforward and effective. They will hold to a dim light, generally, brightening when the motion sensor detects movement. I think the only thing I would have desired would have been the ability to change the light through bright to soft, etc.. Still, for all it promises, it surely delivers.

It boasts great quality, is lightweight, and comes with all the necessary components. Installation is easy, and its brightness is acceptable during the night while maintaining quality. It would be beneficial if they added an option to indicate when the solar panel surface needs cleaning and allowed light control through an app. However, despite these suggestions, it works very well and is a good option for the backyard or front door.

However, since they were relatively cheap, I just replaced them with new ones when they stopped functioning. This Philips version is the first outdoor LED fixture for us from a well-known brand that comes with a hefty price tag. The design is pretty cool resembling a classic outdoor light fixture for both sides of a door. Instead of a flat panel of LEDs, this one features a round center away from the wall, which provides better illumination.The installation was very easy with the included hardware. Once the base is connected to the wall, attaching the unit is a breeze. The motion sensor worked great so far, as well as the solar charging. Even though the current weather is rainy and gloomy, both units charged fully and functioned as expected. Time will tell about the longevity of these lights and whether the price tag is justified based on that... I will post a long term follow up review with that information.

These are excellent quality solar lights with a high efficiency solar panel that lasts all night, even in New England winters. The motion detection works well and as a self-identifying warm light snob, these give off very pleasing true warm light.Be aware that you're paying for the panel and quality of electronics here. The build quality itself is plasticity though that's to be expected to achieve the price point. Once installed, the lamp can be lifted up to be removed which may be a con for some installations.
