I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before I bought this product. I have been taking Prilosec for 10 years and when I started hearing all the news about kidney disease and all the other side affects it really scared me. Heartburn and acid reflux are horrible. Arrived on 7/22/2016 I took 2 Tsp. as soon as I opened the package and 2 Tsp. 3 x a day for a 2 days. The third day I took 1 tsp. 3x a day. I am blown away by the results. I just ordered another jar. I love the taste of it. It is very pricey but I will continue to use it because I would much rather treat this with all natural products than medicine the doctors prescribe. Also I have Psoriasis and I can tell a difference in that since I started using this honey. I hope this review will help someone.

The taste is wonderful. Sometimes I taste hints of cinnamon, sometimes hints of caramel. I bought it because I'm trying out different brands -- this really has the best taste. That said, many reviewers have said the honey is not is not that thick, and I'd have to agree. It doesn't seem watery, but it's just not as thick as other manuka honeys I've tried. What's more, it seems to do really well for my esophagus, which is what I bought it for, even though I've only tried it a few times -- it's like it coats it very well, and that's a good thing. I only gave it four stars because I only started the jar recently; I'll see how I feel when the jar is more than half used. Edited to add another star. I've gone through two jars thus far and this time I'm ordering the 500g jar. It's really cut down on my esophagus discomfort. One heaping spoonful typically does the trick. Haven't seen the GI doc about this, but only because I haven't been able to get in. I'll be going in next week. The esophagus is nothing to ignore.

This was my first time ordering from Happy Valley and I was not expecting such a delightful surprise... The packaging is absolutely beautiful and high quality. You can feel the love H.V. put into this product and how proud they are of showing it. 👏 The Manuka honey is delicious, UMF certified, dark, thick, and less costly than Comvita (my previous jar). From now on Happy Valley will be my go to Manuka honey!

This manuka honey UMF 15+ is sweeter than any of the others I've ever tried, and I've tried many brands with various UMF strengths. It's still delicious, full of flavor, and has obvious medicinal properties that have been finally killing off my lingering sinus infection. However, the strength would not be enough if I were treating the infection from the start (umf 20+ is much more effective). I generally put a big spoonful into my hot herbal tea blends. The honey is sticky and fairly liquid-like in its texture. It melts quickly in heat, but you don't want to use super hot boiling water because it may possibly reduce some of the medicinal properties. I prefer manuka honey that's not quite as extreme in its sweetness, so I probably won't be buying this particular one again. But I got it for its healing, immune-boosting, infection-killing properties, and for that, this is a good product. You can use it on skin infections as well. The box came bent in the corner, but I'm not giving this as a gift so it doesn't matter. Otherwise the packaging is very nice and the jar seal was on tight. I would still recommend it!

I was directed toward this amazing honey, Manuka Honey made from the native forests of New Zealand! It kills bacteria, and at higher (methylgloxal) MGO amounts - (MGO) 510+ it is great for digestion. UMF is New Zealand's rating system so anything at UMF 15+ meets their Mauka Honey standards, so be sure to research to find the higher quality brands. This one, Happy Valley is good! Other things it's good for; sore throat, low energy, wound care, stimulation of good bacteria. I was told NOT to put it in a hot drink as that will change it's molecular structure, so I just take a 1/2 teaspoon plain or take a whole tsp. on toast. Yummy either way! A little expensive, so I take anywhere from 1/4 tsp - 1 tsp 3 times a day. Morning, noon and evening. Excellent for my tummy and any acid reflux I may have had in the past! Because I haven't had any of it since I started taking this. (:- Great for regulating digestion.

This Manuka Honey has a great presentation and taste. I use it for boosting my immunity and keeping my gut healthy. This is much better than the other brand I use to buy. I love the fact that you can go to their website and enter your batch number on the side of the jar and track your honey. You can see their lab results on your little jar of honey. Great taste and it is rich and thick in texture.

I wanted to like this, after reading other reviews I was eager to get mine. It shipped fast, but upon opening the bottle there is a VERY STRONG chemical ODOR to it and it's taste. This is NOT natural to honey! I am VERY concerned that something went wrong in production. I don't believe it's safe to consume. I'll be returning this item.

I started researching Manuka honey after I bought my first jar of it a few months ago. I bought the Manuka Dr. brand and liked it very much so I was curious to try other real manuka honeys with the official UMF rating. I was willing to spend the big dollars on this one to see if it could heal so scars of mine. I was also enjoying a spoonful in my morning coffee. It's a good brand but cant really say I was much more impressed with it than Manuka Dr. It healed wounds and acne about the same and as fast as the Manuka Dr. too. It is a good honey and very healthy with healing benefits but I would not fork the big dough on this brand again.

Aunque es una miel cara por su naturaleza y propiedades, he de destacar que mantiene una buena relación calidad-precio respecto a otras marcas. Como reseña simplemente comentar que aunque la caja en la que viene es bonita, hubiese sido mejor que no se la pusiesen y que bajase un poco el precio.
