As of September 2021, our Sweet & Sticky BBQ Sauce, Korean BBQ Sauce, Beer Chutney & Hoisin Sauce are the only Stokes Sauces products which are not gluten free. What about the products containing barley? Some of the products in our range, including Brown Sauce, contain gluten derived ingredients such as malt vinegar. However, the level of gluten in the overall product is very low (below 20 parts per million) and can therefore be classified as ‘gluten free’ as per the regulatory guidance from an allergenic standpoint. Following our rigorous allergen validation programme, we ensure that gluten content is consistently <20ppm.
