Cerez Pazari Chilli Flakes, Aleppo Pepper, Pul Biber 150g of Moderate Heat Red Pepper Flakes, Turkish Crushed Red Chilli Flakes, Maras Chili Pepper | Halaby Pepper | Syrian Pepper

Recently visited Turkey and enjoyed the lentil soup there, so decided to make it at home. The recipe required this Aleppo pepper. The soup was lovely!

Flakes like chilli but nowhere as strong.It has a unique warm taste and it tastes amazing.I experimented for the first time with a red lentils soup, with a bit of onion, garlic, potato, carrot which I fried in extra virgin olive oil. I added water and the rinced red lentils, with powdered cumin, coriander and of course aleppo pepper After 25 minutes, it was cooked and I mixed the soup. But the most delicious which really enhances the flavour of the soup, was to add some more aleppo pepper in hot olive oil and add the mixture to the top of the soup. I really love this aleppo chilli flakes pepper. I look forward to experimenting with it. Next will be fried eggs with aleppo pepper.It is also delicious when you add it to fried garlic, and then add black nero kale to fry and when done, adding cooked spaghetti.I am very happy with my purchase, delicious and comes in a big jar.I bought it twice as I cook a lot with it. The flavour and smell of aleppo pepper is wonderful. I wish I had discovered this spice beforehand.

Family loved it, all used up, good quality.

A unique flavour - part paprika, part Cayenne, well worth adding to your spice rack and you get a surprisingly large amount - so great value.

Love the product. Use it to make my Turkish eggs gives a lovely taste and the packaging is huge.
