I’ve gone through so many car phone holders over the years, but the VICSEED 2025 model is on a whole different level. I mounted it on my dashboard at first, and later tried it on the windshield just to test it out—and both placements are super secure. The suction cup is insanely strong. You do have to follow the right steps though: Make sure to find a flat surface. Clean the surface first, make sure it’s dry and smooth, then press the base down firmly and lock the lever. After that, it just doesn’t budge. The dashboard pad stick on my dash super steadily. It is optional to use the pad. If the dash is smooth, you can even install the suction cup on it directly. It’s survived summer heat in Florida and some rough roads without slipping once.Before this, I had bought one of those cheap $15 holders from a gas station—big mistake. It looked decent at first, but the suction would always fail after a few days, especially if the car got too hot. Once, it even popped off while I was on the freeway, and my phone flew straight onto the passenger floor. Not only was it dangerous, but it also scratched my screen. The plastic arms also started cracking within a few weeks, and the swivel head got loose and floppy. Total waste of money—and honestly, kind of scary.What I really love about the VICSEED is how stable it keeps my phone—even during sharp turns, potholes, or when I brake hard. It feels like something out of a rally car setup. The arms are thick and padded with soft rubber, so they grip my phone tightly without scratching it. Holds my phone really well, even in the thick case. I love how versatile it is. You have an option to clip it to the vent, without slipping; or you can use the sticky sucker cup. It's not sticky like tape, more like one of those sticky hand toys from way back in the day. Haha! If you don't have a smooth surface, there is a round plate (it does have a permanent adhesive) that you can place on the dash, or wherever, and then the sucker cup can be used. The holder also has a convenient gap for your charger cord to be plugged in. The length is also adjustable. NOTE: I live in the South, and it gets HOT here. I do not leave the sucker cup in the window when my car is parked in the sun. The rubber cup can melt, and make a mess of things. I have bought 2 of these so far, and am going to get a 3rd.

I've been using this mount for about 2 and a half years and it has done me extremely well. Doesn't budge and it adjusts into any angle and won't move on me. Really easy to apply to the dash or window, only qualm I have with it is it is now mostly permanently attached to the windshield. I tried taking it off yesterday so my wife can use it and it is glued to the window very very well. It'll take a razor to get it off. But, it has been attached to that one spot and never moved for almost 3 years.

I bought this in 2023, and 2 years later it is still securely suctioned to my windshield. It works great.About 6 months ago the gears rattled loose - so make sure you tighten it every once in a while. The reason I’m giving this product 4 stars instead of 5, is that the piece that adjusts to hold your phone broke. I cannot adjust the width or height on it. It worked for over a year, but I think it should still work.

This is exactly what I needed. It is a very powerful mount, and it was easy to install. The mount holds very tight on the dash or vent. I have it mounted on a vertical vent as well as my dash. I commute 40+ minutes each way every day, so it is very handy to have my phone visible and accessible rather than sliding around on the passenger seat. I recommend this product to anyone.

I've had this holder for about a year now and it's been awesome! It's held my large Samsung Galaxy phone which is in a thick Otterbox case extremely well! So well, in fact, that it was even kinda hard to remove it to transfer it to my new vehicle. Because I wanted to use it in my new car, I needed to reach out to the company to see if they could recommend a compatible new sticky pad so i could mount it in my new car. They not only recommended the exact one I needed, but sent me two new pads free of charge! This holder has been outstanding as is their customer service!

This holder lasted 5 months....not sure if that's good or bad considering the price. Every part of the holder was still like new in the end, except the "teeth" which lock/hold the phone clamp in place. If they replaced these teeth with steel ones or a stronger plastic, I have no doubt this item would last atleast 2 years.

We LOVE these things! They are handy, sturdy, and above all - the company honors the warranty - regardless how long you've owned them. Believe me, I've tried a number of variants of phone hangers and as we have three cars, - guess what? -- All three cars have them. We attach to the windshield and not the vent, though the vent attachment is supplied. However, pick your spot on the windshield with care, you might get a second chance but don't plan on it when you put it up and apply the suction the unit is stuck - and that's a good thing.
