Excellent product,car and van essential.

This is a good working cup, great for the travelling that I do,it gets to a nice hot temperature for tea, coffee or soup, it takes on average about 20 mins to get hot.

I purchased this product recently, and it is a very good portable kettle. It is easy to use, and heats up water in three minutes. If you want water to be boiling then it takes six minutes. It has a plug, so it is good for travelling. It also has a one year guarantee. I would definitely purchase this again. It is also very quiet, unlike a traditional kettle and produces less steam. I also like the mint green colour. It is the size of a travel cup, but just a bit bigger.

I spent HOURS looking for the right kettle for my car and a big concern I had, was that the on/off button, and the lead would be in the right place so that the kettle could comfortably sit in my car cup holder whilst being plugged in with the button accessible, and without being affected by the cup holder case. I had concerns about this as cars/driving/hot water/electric/space could have risks. I was soooo pleased with this and so glad I didn't order the cheaper ones with questionable reviews. The reason it all works is that the button is in a good place, the cable doesn't present any problems in my (average sized) cup holder and it's 'just' the right size. Also, having used it many times there's NO metallic taste to the water after. Just make sure to give it a good wipe as I have hard water and scales will start to build up quite quickly. Would definitely recommend this product. You'll get a good cup and a half or two small cups of hot water out of it, and I wouldn't expect more out of a car kettle - I didn't want a big huge one. Overall thrilled to have this and really glad to have it as you just don't know what can happen whilst driving in the winter and it encourages me to drink more - I like hot drinks.

Item worked fine at first; now the plug for the 12V gets extremely hot! I burnt my fingers when I unplugged it. Support on the webpage is not available... this has only been used on two outings.

We bought this to take on holiday, as the hotel didn't provide hot drink making facilities. So I chose one with a lower wattage, so as not to overload any electric socket we might plug it into. It worked very well throughout the week. Note. 1) Make sure that the stopper is clear from the steam vent before switching it on. Otherwise it will be popped out with a bang! 2) Do not put yourhand over the vent while it is still very hot. (Like you wouldn't over a kettle's spout). 3) Take the lid off to pour. The body does stay quiet cool. You get about 2 3/4 full mug fulls per pot. I notice that some people complain it turns itself on after it has already bolied. If they had read the instructions, they would see that is what it is designed to do. So just unplug it once you have used it. Noise level is quiet. We put it on a paper back as direct on the table was noisy.

Works on my Jackery 240 v2. Boils a lot quicker with mains plug than the 12v one, uses 10 -15% per boil and the size of a travel mug - combined with a thermos travel mug, coffee bags, candarel tabs and a small tub of coffee mate plus spoon and off you go - just need fresh water or make it simpler by making flavoured tea - water/bag/sweetner - wait then enjoy !

Nice little addition to the car, especially when on long drives. Takes about 20mins to heat up to coffee/tea temp' but apart from that, very handy.
