Beautiful wicks that burn for a bit. I wanted something that was bigger than a typical cotton wick so tried these. I don’t hear any crackling but they burn well when you light it all across the top. After a while you can flame the flame and it will get bigger.

These wicks are so nice, they add a unique touch to any candle. They burn well , wood is perfect thickness. And easy to use. They are a little messy to trim but when lit crackle so nicely.

I've only tried one kind o wood wick in the past and was disappointed in how badly they performed, but these wicks seemed like they would work better for candle making. I'm glad that I gave them a try, I really like them! I chose the three piece set, and it only came with three wicks. Don't let the image give the impression that the three or six option come with more. I didn't soak or brush these wicks with oil before using them in candles, and they burn perfectly fine! The wicks give a low flame that melts the wax in jar candles perfectly, and the wicks have re-lit multiple times without issue. I love the hint of woodsmoke scent that these wicks give, and the fragrance when they're extinguished as well. It's quite pleasing and more enjoyable than traditional wicks in candles to me. These wicks are easy to cut into sections for candles with smaller diameters, and still burn just as well as a whole wick. These sticks lie down, so you'd think the flame would be brighter. Easy to use.

Not gonna lie.., I read the directions soaked them in the liquid wax for a period one time . The other time I used olive oil etc etc, used soy wax as this wick is designed for . Burn rate was minimal and the size was nice but will not stay lit. I tried 2 times with 2 of them and I failed miserably. The thickness was fair enough to fit in my vessel , the value for the money had it worked , would have been fine., I’m not going into detail and I wish I could but my patience ran thin and I set up to return it back, they actually wanted the last of the 3 in the package back so I felt like., “here, you throw this away”, i literally brought back the one wood wick , not really a wick rather a waste of time and got a full refund. One review said she used coconut wax but the manufacturer said SOY Wax . I even feel like I’m wasting my time leaving a review but I had to warm people .,

These work fine, and I like the look of them. I didn’t have any issues when adding them to the jars I tested with, and they seem to work well with multiple types of wax. They are relatively thick and the bases included keep them pretty stable. The main issues I have are the price and the size of the flame. The price is too high per piece, in my opinion. The quality is just okay, but the price is more expensive than even some of the nicest brand-name wood wicks I’ve bought. The size of the flame is also so small I had issues with it blowing out on its own. Overall, they’re fine, but just too expensive and finicky for me.
