The tamper feels high quality. The magnet is reasonably strong. The needles are thin and are held firmly in place. The handle feels premium - solid aluminum. It works very well. There is no reason to spend a lot of money on such a simple tool, this one was a good value.

I almost bought some acupuncture needles and went looking for a cork but decided a few bucks was worth the soild aluminum build, time and hassle. Magnet is a nice bonus. Works well, and cleans quick with a rinse. Unscrews easily to replace with extra included needles and keeps my pucks looking nice and neat. for the money, no complaints.

It works, but the magnet could be a touch stronger. It stays secure, but just barely. It feels sturdy and does the job.

This seems to do an excellent job of breaking up any clumps in the coffee grounds before brewing a shot of espresso. It came with a few replacement needles, but they seem unlikely to ever be needed. The magnet on the handle is very strong, but the stainless steel on my espresso machine isn't magnetic. So I glued a magnet to the tiled backsplash next to the expresso machine and that works great.

This is my second one and this one Is by far better than my other one. Love the magnet on it, very easy to put away.
