I use this on the go and at home. When I’m having tea it’s in this cup always, which is everyday a a few times a day. I personally don’t use the top cover much unless I’m out and about. It’s super easy to clean. The color options are so beautiful and hard to choose from. It is NOT leak proof. I appreciate the silicone sleeve on the cup that makes handling this ceramic cup so easy. Doesn’t keep the tea hot but I don’t usually leave my tea unattended. I think this is a great cup whether you’re at home or on the go, has definitely been a value to the amount I purchased it for. It is heavy and feels very high quality.Caution: it can be slim depending on the size of your cup holder, might move around depending on how big the cup holder is.

I needed a mug with a lid for travel to work and this was the perfect size and the extra silicone grip helps not burn your hands. If you're debating getting this, just do it!

I ordered the "monsoon" color to include in a giveaway basket. While I understand that there can be quite a bit of variation from one ceramic item to the next in terms of color, the item that I received is significantly darker and less colorful than what I was expecting (and what various images of that color showed).It does appear to be a high-quality piece of ceramic, and the glaze itself is beautifully glossy.In terms of capacity, this product holds 12 ounces, which is the same size as a regular can of soda. It may be smaller than you expect.Overall, this looks like a high-quality piece, I'm just disappointed in the color. If I'd known how dark this item was going to be, I would have chosen a different color.

I have purchased eight Nova Ceramics cups over the past two years - five 12oz versions and six 16oz versions. I have the Monsoon, Nebula, and Jupiter variants in both sizes. I love the design and the quality of the ceramic is top notch.The 12oz uses a proprietary lid that cannot be replaced by a generic non-BPA lid replacement you'll find cheap on Amazon...so when you lose the top, you'll need to purchase a replacement from Nova Ceramics. This is a annoying, but they last a long time, so it's not too bad.The 16oz lids appear to be manufactured by the some company, and are elongated using the same amount of base material - probably with a new mold. This has introduced problems with the lids themselves not sealing tightly or not holding liquid in as well as the 12oz.I have had to return four of the six 16oz Nova Ceramics cups I have purchased from Amazon in the past month.

I used my mug for the first time at work. What an awesome product!!! It's beautiful to look at and functional. Many years ago, I broke a silicone lined ceramic mug which I really enjoyed using. I thought I would never find such a product again. Nova Ceramics to the rescue! The mug easily fits into my padded sling bag. The silicone sleeve and cover come in handy.Please be aware the silicone can get hot when taking it out of the microwave. Be careful. I didn't have leaking problems as I didn't use the mug while driving. I commute via the train. I assume it is fairly leak proof as the silicone top provides a good seal and the opening to sip isn't wide enough for liquid to spill out while drinking. But still, use it wisely and safely. I would not hold it upside down to test leakage.And finally, the Nova mugs make great gifts.

I was a little apprehensive to purchase this mug, since each one has a different design. I was a little worried I would get one that wasn't as "pretty" lol. But holy cow it's gorgeous! I have yet to have any issues with leaking from the lid. It doesn't keep coffee hot, but of course that is to be expected from a ceramic made coffee mug. I don't get any metallic notes in my coffee using this unlike my insulated ones, so I am happy! And again, the colors are just so pretty. I do love that no two cups are alike. Definitely use the silicone hand protector with it though, the cup gets HOT!
