I really like this product. It is fragrance free which I have to have. I also loved their styling product which came in a small tub. I can't find that anymore.

Great product .. I’m a a Asian with thin fine hair ... it gives great volume

I’ve been around the block many many times when it comes to hair products. My hair is wavy, fine and I have a lot of it. It’s hard to find a prestyling agent that works good and doesn’t weigh my hair down. This one is it. I use a heat protectant spray to get my hair mostly wet, then I add a few pumps Sidekick and blow dry it in to place. I could prob stop there but for the extra hold and Cherry on top of my hairstyle, I finish with Blumaan Cavalier Clay. I used to have to finish with hairspray but the Sidekick has eliminated the need for it. A little over priced but it IS coming from Denmark so I get it. Big time recommendation from me for this stuff. Glad I finally tried it out.

Ehh there are volumizer products out there that do the job if you don’t have time to stand in front on a mirror to make sure your hair is “perfect.” I have thick hair which may be an issue...idk, but IMO, this product is over hyped for mediocre results. I’ve found that depot volumizer by the male tools and CO is amazing (blow dryer or not) for amazing texture and volume...this is just meh.

To preface this review I will say that my hair is straight, coarse, and kinda thick (asian hair). I style my hair with the intent of having a lot of volume and I always get my hair texturized every other haircut to allow for better volume. This pre styling spray dried out my hair a lot during the blow drying process. Furthermore there was a lot of pull and tug, to the point where I thought hair would fall out, while taming it with a round brush. The product overall was unpleasant to use and not worth it at all. A good pre styling product should not dry out your hair even if a blow dryer is involved. I've used drug store pre stylers that have worked better than this. I'm giving it 2 stars however because it did provide a little bit of volume despite what little blow drying I was able to accomplish. Also I want to add that in the shipping process liquid leaked out inside the bag, so take that as you will. Lastly I would like to add that this is the limited edition one that I got as opposed to the regular one that they sell which has much better feedback. I don't know if there's a difference aside from packaging but I'll play it safe and say that the other one would yield the same result.

I've always struggled with my thin hair and styling it was always quite an effort and it'd never look how I'd expected or last that long. I've tried so many products until I watched a YouTube video where this product was recommended. Game changer. Honestly didn't have high hopes, but it works wonderfully. After my morning shower, I'll majority dry my hair and apply Sidekick to the damp hair. Style it into roughly the shape you want. A good hair brush is recommend, a thin round brush for men with shorter hair is what I use. Style as you blow dry it into shape. Use some hairspray to keep the shape. Genuinely holds for a while. My hair has never had so much volume!
