This is not only a fish tank stand, but also sold as a shelving unit.******Do not believe all of the reviews you read on this product. ************This is a wonderful stand, and fits perfectly in my shabby chic motif.It took me about 1.5 hours to put together, as the instructions and video are not very helpful.Just make sure each of the 4 corner braces and their corresponding rivets and holes are facing the same direction. The square holes are larger, so make sure when you connect the ends, both of the round rivets are in the hole, while using the mallet to pound them properly into the circle at the bottom. If you are not detail oriented, this will be difficult to put together. Take your time and do it slowly.Once each of the shelves are in place, you will notice how structurally sound this is.I live where earthquakes are common, so I put my 18 gallon tall on the bottom, and my 15 gallon long on top.I kept them both empty overnight just to let gravity do its work. It held fine through the night. Next morning I added water and the fish back into the 18 gallon, and it held the weight with no shifting or noises unlike my previous tank unit.Again, just make sure when you are assembling it, take your time, make sure each of the rivets are in place before tamping down.The included mallet is good for assembly, or perhaps for tent pegs, but the side of the head I used was shredded at the end of assembly. The included gloves were not necessary- I will keep them in my backpack as an emergency back up.If I had more tanks, I would certainly consider buying this again.

Love this stand! I reveivee it yesterday. It was so easy to set up, didn’t take long at all, I put my 10 gal fish tank in the middle, storage at the bottom and the top is a 20 gal long and I am getting it set up for a axolotl tank although I have quit a bit to still get for that tank.That’s fit the space perfectly and is exactly what I was look for.

Giving 5 stars because seller’s customer service rep was so quick to respond! Originally, I received the wrong color from their shipping dept, but they sent me a label to send it back and almost immediately shipped out the correct color! The stand itself is perfect for what I needed. It was difficult for me to put together by myself, I did it, but not without a lot of cursing and injuring myself a bit. It was hard to hold the pieces up while using the little hammer mallet. I should’ve asked for help, but that’s not my strong suit. lol Once it was together though, it was reaaaaally sturdy! It’s so hard to find cute shelving to fit 18” exoterra enclosures, and this one can fit 2 18”x24”x12”! Overall it’s great, and I’ll probably order another at some point!

I have one 20 gallon tank and one 10 gallon tank sitting on 2 shelves and it looks great. Assembling was very easy, took me maybe 10-15 minutes, just very loud because you have to hammer the pieces together. I'd order again for similar use. Seems very durable but I would not put anything more than 20G on a shelf.

Materials are not sturdy—filing cabinet type. The corner pieces remind me of bed frames—no screws or nails just click on locks. The description did not put any weight limit so I was not too sure how big it can hold. I live in fear I will wake up to a very wet floor, broken glasses and dead fishes! I would return but they charge me $20 to ship back. I’ll find another use for it in the garage.

If you’re cool with the industrial shelve look, and willing to add some wood supports for 20+ gallon tanks then this stand is perfect. Easy set up, fast shipping, feels sturdy, all parts included, the feet fit for ends were loose and could be slightly bigger. I personally think adding wood for extra support is the right choice for any fish tank rated for more than 20 gallons as an extra security. The main 4 corner rails seemed some what thin and could be less flimsy steel, so displacement of the weight by the wood just seemed logical. I also wouldn’t go anywhere over 40 gallons for the top shelf either. Hopefully I won’t have to correct this review in the months to come but will be back to edit in 3-6 months once I fully set up all tanks. 1 YEAR EDIT: So this stand really has been such a bang for the buck buy. I now use it to house my reptiles instead of fish but that has nothing to do with the stand itself. I have my beardies 40 gallon on top with a wood base in between and not a single sign of issues. Swapping shelves can be a pain but other than that, amazing shelving unit and definitely would buy again.

This is a good quality fish tank stand. I’m glad we bought this. Correct height, easy to install, it also comes with extra bottom side covers.

A lot of good reviews, but when the item arrived and set it up for my 20 gallon long aquarium it kinda look like it cannot hold it longer. The shelves are not not sturdy as the other buyer said on the review and it is not a real angle bar for the stand. No screww for the shelves and you just have to place it on top no screws or locks. And it is not thick enough to support the weight. I put a 3/4 wood to evenly spread the weight. I am disappointed. Some dents on the shelves too.
