The pulse-pounding finale of the #1 NYT bestselling Lightlark Saga. Isla fights treacherous feelings to save Lightlark from ruin in this epic fantasy. Review: Exquisite - OMG well that’s an epic journey I will never forget. I’ve finish the entire series (so far) and I’m waiting for Summer in The City to arrive. I already know that I will own every physical copy of this beautiful humans work of art. Also may have me a tiny girl crush because, hello, she is stunning! So Skyshade, this one was a tiny bit darker. We see prophecies and other world monsters, we seee the past and present mesh together to decide the future. Again this is so cinematically written and I will die to see this on the big screen! Review: Intriguing and gripping in ways the first two books aren’t. - This one was a lot better than the first two books. We learn so much more about Isla and her relationship with Grim, even seeing it now that she’s with him. But we also learn so much about Isla’s past and her parents. It’s intriguing, and the plot isn’t as…bland, I suppose, as the first two books where the ending made it worth a read. It simply just was better and that’s what makes me interested to see what happens in the next book. Though, I will admit, I was team Grim. After reading this book, I am team Grim AND team Orlo and hope that, now that Isla has disappeared, Grim and Orlo can put their differences aside and hopefully, become a romantic interest so that when Isla comes back, they can become a throuple. I think this would bring a really good twist to the book where they are all dating each other. I would LOVE to see this, but who knows what Aster is going to do next?

Addictive and non-stop page turner
Skyshade is the third book in the LightLark series by Alex Aster, and where to start with this book! It has been a long time since I have been completely obsessed with a series as much as I have been with these books, and this instalment did not disappoint and was on another level. The book is a continuation on from the aftermath of the centennial, and Isla is not only grappling with how to break the curse thrust upon them all, but she is also battling her feelings between an old and new love. With a prophecy which states she will either save the realms or destroy them, as a reader you have absolutely no idea how it may end. The incredible writing and well/thought out plot, makes it a non-stop guessing game, and always expect the unexpected! The one thing I am absolutely certain of, is that nothing could make me ever hate Grim. I’m always a sucker for the bad ones in books, and Grim has some lines which absolutely wrecked me, and shows 100 percent that his love has no bounds. I am impatiently waiting for the next books in this series to be released, and hope I’m not waiting too long, as I NEED to know what happens after one epic cliffhanger! This book is perfect for romantasy lovers, and I would recommend reading as part of the series rather than a standalone. The series is targeted as YA fantasy, but the spice was amped up in this book! 🔥 Perfect for those who love books with non-stop twists, are looking for an addictive page-turner and love romance and fantasy. You will not be disappointed by this fictional realm.

Unnecessary but good.
This book should have been the culmination of a trilogy. Instead, it opens the door for yet another book. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t enjoyable. While the series is not the best written, I still enjoy reading it for some odd reason.

Amazing!
“If loving you this much is my downfall . . . then consider me already on my knees.” 💙 𝑺𝒌𝒚𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝒃𝒚 𝑨𝒍𝒆𝒙 𝑨𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓 💙 Skyshade is the third book in the Lightlark Saga by @AlexAster and what a book! I usually find the other books in the series aren't better than the first but I was so wrong because these just keep getting better and better! “I would do it a thousand times over, heart; you should know that. I will choose you over the world every single time.” I loved that this pretty much started off where the last book left so the hook was still deep! The way this book developed was so creative and enticing. I genuinely didn't expect any of the events of this book, every twist and turn just kept me guessing. “My wife? You dare threaten my wife?” I also normally don't like a love triangle but damnit I'm routing for both the guys. I really do adore all of these characters, and the animal companions too. I was also excited to find out more about her parents and about her past. “We’re infinite, heart. Never forget that.” However! I did not like that ending! I need another book asap 😂 definitely can't end there! 10000% recommend 🐍 Love triangle 🐍 Prophecies 🐍 Enemies to lovers 🐍 Powerful badass FMC ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 🌶️🌶️/5

I am not a fan of cliffhangers and be warned that this one is terrible. The epic battle scenes, quests for salvation, and tortured love spin a tale that is enticing and addictive. The story of great loves, great battles, and a desperate need for redemption makes this series so easy to get lost in. I wanted a happily ever after, but this series is not that. Death and destruction are tearing the realms apart, and Isla feels like it is all her fault. She has so many decisions to make, and fighting fate is one of them. Wraith and Lynx were favourites of mine in this series, especially Lynx. All will be revealed soon, I hope.

I was really excited for this book to come out, and now that I have read it, it did not disappoint. I loved it just as much as the first and second books, now I can’t wait to continue reading the missions Isla goes through in the next books. I really can’t wait for the story to continue. AAAAAARG!!!!im so excited. And impatient. I want the next book already, I know this one is just out but…. 😍😍😍😍
