These batteries do not work in the new ryobi chargers. there is a 4th metal contact on the new chargers, these batteries only have 3 contacts?

These batteries do not work with Ryobi P118B charger, which can only charge Li (not Ni-Mh or Ni-Ca) batteries.

P504G cordless circular saw compatible?

it will basically fit any 18v Ryobi power tool. it appears to have been made by Ryobi for the aftermarket brands. it fits my Walmart brand 18v tools. it's not an exact fit but works very well as far as fitting the tool. not sure about the newest generation Ryobi tools but the older models are just fin. hope this helps.

You probably have defective batteries. I have charger P117 and it will charge Ni Mh batteries. The labeling on my P117 charger clearly indicates that it will charge Ni Mh, Ni Cd, and Li ion batteries.
