This Stuff is Magical
I bought this putty to seal around the electrical wire entering a backyard function. It worked great, sealing the water.

wonderful to work with
As described, it was easy to mold into desired shape and plug into holes I wanted to repair. Since it hasn't been in place long enough to see if it keeps the water OUT, I don't know yet if it will do all that the description says it will do.

Pretty decent for small jobs
I really bought this for general use, such as patching small holes. It is very malleable, which makes it easy to get it into any shape needed. I have a few cracks where dust seeps in through my window jam and my complex is kind of lax on getting that fixed. This is trapping and keeping out that dust, so that is a plus in my book. It does not harden, which is fine for removal when or if needed.

This stuff is fantastic
This is a really unique putty like I haven't used before. I have tried a product that I think was like an oil based clay, but this stuff is really great. It's super flexible and sticks to itself just like clay, but leaves no residue on your hands that make it feel greasy. I just refreshed my memory by looking at the product page and I see it's safe for fish, which I'm an avid aquarist, so I might be trying it out for some aqua scaping. I've had difficulty in the past securing my anubias plants, and this is malleable enough so it won't damage the plants as they grow. The main reason I got this was for the bathtub overflow. I actually like to fill my tub to the rim and I was using plumber's putty to plug that (I know it's not a conventional use), and it does harden and get mildew growth, but this is removeable and reusable so I can just apply a strip each time I want to use it, perfect! I really appreciate the product. :)

it is a softer version of duct seal in my opinion. That may be useful in some situations
First of all, I am very happy that this is Made in the USA and that definitely gets it the extra 1/2 star when I deciding between rating this as 3 stars or 4 stars. Here is the thing about this. In my opinion, this stuff is a softer, more easily workable, version of duct seal. I could see using this just about anywhere that I would normally choose duct seal, although that is not to say that I think this would work better than duct seal -- I don't -- at least not for a lot of projects. This silicone putty is much softer and easier to squish and mold than duct seal. And it is not at all sticky (and anyone who works with duct seal, knows that duct seal is very sticky and leaves residue on your fingers that is tough to remove).BUT...,that "stickiness" of duct seal is often an asset. Furthermore, duct seal has more "body" to it -- it is heavier and sticky-er than this E-Fusing Flex putty. Sometimes you need more of those traits to do the job right. So I am kind of torn about this stuff. If I could give a fractional rating, it would be 3.5 stars because I think overall that duct seal is a better overall product for MOST use scenarios and is SUBSTANTIALLY cheaper than this E-Fusing Flex putty. I recently bought (here on Amazon) a 5lb package of duct seal for around $12. Hard to beat that value for a decades-proven product that I can (and have) used in hundreds of different ways, everything from gap sealing, to sound deadening, to hole patching, to reduce metal vibrations, etc. But, in those rare instances when you may need something more pliable and LESS sticky, this will be very useful. Therefore, I think every DIY homeowner should order one batch of this Silicone putty, because when-you-need-it, you will have it ready-to-go. But how often would I choose to use this vs duct seal? Rarely. Right now, I am thinking that if I needed to try to seal a small water pipe leak (this stuff claims to be effective as a leak-stop), then I would give this a go instead of duct seal. But to use as a gap sealant in non-leaking stuff, I would choose duct seal every day of the week due to its weight and stickiness and substantially lower cost.In conclusion, I think it is smart and worthwhile to have 1 package of this silicone putty around, but my guess is that I wont have a need to re-order anytime soon.

Nice flexible putty.
I got this just for general purpose use. I don't have a specific use at the time, but I wanted to keep this for when I need to patch a hole in the brick or fill in a hole in the concrete. The documentation says it will patch pin hole leaks but I think that is only if used in conjunction with E/Fusing 140 or E/Fusing 220 silicone tape. I haven't bought one of the those tapes yet though. The putty is soft, doesn't dry out or harden over time, and it has a slightly sticky feel without leaving a residue on your skin. If you have window putty this will work better and last forever.
