- CLXEAST 18" Illuminated Outdoor Atomic Analog Clocks Waterproof,IP65 Rating

This clock is just right for my enclosed patio. It lights up for easy reading when the sun goes down and was made with. quality metal and glass. I was a bit concerned with the set-up instructions, which you need to take slow. When I added the batteries and turned it on, The hands began to move and settle on 12:00. I started to freak out about repacking it to return. I re-read the instructions where I missed that it was supposed to do this while it tuned into the satellite system. By the time I finished the instructions the second time, it was already moving to the current time. If you have kids, you might want to do set-up with them, as they will probably get a kick out of the clock setting itself. The instructions did say that you might have trouble setting it during heavy storms and/or in areas that would block the satellite signals, but the heavy thunderstorm I was experiencing did not seem to effect the performance of the clock.

I was expecting to be able to set this clock up quickly but then realized as I read the instructions that it has to receive a radio frequency signal that allows it to set the time on its own. It took several tries and I ended up taking it outside and putting it on the seat of my Chase lounge so that it would have better access to the radio signal. Once I did this it's set the time of exactly as to what it was supposed to be at that moment and did it automatically. I have hung it up in my house and it continues to give absolute correct time. There are two containers on the backside that take two diesel batteries each. There is also a compartment for a single AA battery which actually helps to get the radio frequency started once you insert the battery. It is a very classy and conservative looking clock and I really like it.

This is such a cool clock! We needed a clock out on our deck, but we didn't want one that dominates, forcing us to know what time it is. This clock stays in the background, unnoticed except when we want to know the time. We like the illuminated face. It's very attractive, but without demanding attention. The size is perfect - it's large enough to see from across the deck, but not oversized. The numbers are also large, making it easily readable. We're glad it's an atomic clock that checks in every couple hours to make sure it's still accurate. We're glad it's water resistant, built for outdoors.

This clock works fine except in less than a year and a half, the clock numbers are so faded, they're now hard to read. Never have I had a clock where the clock face fades. I use it on a balcony underneath a roof overhang and I have a 9 foot diameter umbrella blocking the sun. There should be no reason for it to fade. Amazon customer service told me there's only one way to contact CLXEAST and that's by calling them. So in order for me to resolve this issue, I have to spend $2.49 per minute for an international call to China. Because of this issue and because of the clock face fading, I'm giving a review of 1 star. The seller knows about this issue with the clock face fading because there are other customer reviews on Amazon that mention this.

Beautiful and practical wall clock. Color is true olive green. This silent clock is well-made and phenomenally accurate. Stunning when lit, so I find myself closing the door to a dark room just to check it out. Perfect size and easy to read, and it feels like it will last a very long time. One picky thing: the light sensor is placed in such a conspicuous way that it is distracting and why I only gave this 4 stars. My other clocks put these in places that aren't obvious; the design on this clock makes this an easy possibility. Not sure why the manufacturer didn't just do this, as it would be perfect!

Love this clock lites up st dusk on its own and keeps perfect time. Woukd buy again. Looks better in pefson!

I've no complaints. Seems I had to ?maybe set it out facing Fort Collins to begin with. Don't remember; might have been a different one. Patience is helpful. Give these atomic's an over night and they seem to get it correct.

We have replaced so many outdoor clocks. After saying that, this one is a keeper. It is under a covered overhang outdoors. The size is great and the clock can be read across our backyard. The function is very easy because it’s Atomic and automatically adjust. The color and brightness makes it look sharp and easy to read.

De knop voor de zomertijd doet het niet. De klok reageert daar niet op. Heb de tijd met de tijdzone klok bijgesteld. Heb bij de leverancier informatie gevraagd maar geen reactie.
