Great motor
I have not needed to use it as its a Spare ....the original 1 1/2 years old still works ....my big cat every once in a while lifts the top off .....I have Not figured out or found a clamp to hold it in place . He doesn't do itvery often

Pump stopped working - sad I’ll have to get a different fountain
Similar to other reviews, for no apparent reason the fan in the pump went out within two weeks. I can get it to come on sometimes but only for a few seconds. The original pump that came with the fountain worked almost a year. I loved this fountain but it’s more cost effective to buy a different one if the pumps aren’t reliable.

Died faster than my first one
I don't know why, but this pump is down to a trickle in less than a month.Perhaps the minimum water level on the fountain is inaccurate? Stressing the pump and leading to it wearing out rapidly?It is making me consider another fountain with a different pump style.
